Beautiful Lancia Stratos!!
Are you old enough to remember when the Stratos was racing in the infamous "Group B" Rally Championships? Those cars were eventually banned because they were so over-powered that even the best Rally drivers on earth were being seriously injured and killed trying to drive them/control them with their insane BHP! If memory serves, you basically had a rally car weighing less than 1 tonne, with a turbo or super-charged engine pumping out circa 700+BHP!! TERRIFYING!! 😱

Stratos is mega , back in the late 80’s I had an AYK carpet racer with a Stratos group C body and carbon chassis . Absolutely loved it and that was back in the day of the rs 540 motors and Nicads . As per usual it all either got binned or given away . 🥺

Good content is worth the wait. I'm excited to see what's coming.
The closest I could get to a candy red it to use translucent red (lots of medium coats), back that with chrome, then back the chrome with black. Really pops in the sun.

1965 C10 was my first Truck. It was a step side 3 speed on the column. I wish I never sold it
Kev with the Candy apple red you can change the candy shade by using Silver lighter affect Gold for a more medium dark affect or black for a deeper affect or you can do all 3-to have a different flop depending on how the light hits it.. just avoid using white as it will make it look muddy. Happy painting man👍

I actually ordered one of those Mini Excavators off of Banggood for $33CAD. Bought it to put in my mini crawler course to move some of the loose ground and make new obstacles. Mostly a little gimmick but for the price it's very impressive

I remember drifting that stratos in gt4 with PS2 link cables/back2back consoles and TV's. We drifted for 12 oz beers lol
It's a Lancia Stratos from the 80's. I also believe it raced in the infamous "Group B" Rally Championships which were basically Rally Cars with insanely over-powered over Turbo'd widow makers with wheels!! LOL ( On a serious note, that class of rallying was eventually banned due to so many horrific accidents and deaths! The cars were just too powerful and very difficult to control, even for the worlds best Rally Drivers! That tells you something about just how terrifyingly over-powered those cars were! )
BTW Kev you are going way back to when I was a young teen with that one. I was crazy over cars but not quite old enough to drive yet.

Sheesh, Redfin has some money tied up in inventory daaaamn. I had the perfect spot in my old bldg for a hobby shop but started looking into the $$ needed for inventory and said NOPE. The last 2 shops that tried to make a go of it failed.
Kev, you need an Extra 300L, Cessna 182 & perhaps access to a Cessna caravan. Safe travels.

Hey Kev, you should do a video on the new Rustler and Stampede 4x4 VXLs from Traxxas. They’ve got the Extreme Heavy-Duty upgrade kit, which basically puts Maxx-duty parts on the smaller 3S trucks

For the speed sausage have you considered 3d printing (which can be strong if done right) wheels that have T shaped things sticking out so if you cast the tires in silicone it is held on real well?

I love the Monster truck stuff but there isn't enough. Im pretty sure you would like to run that big old truck more yourself. Do they only do one Monster truck show a year there? If so you need to find some more action. We do alot in America.
