2000 Toyota Camry: Friend was concerned about the brakes. She could here a hissing noise while pressing the brakes and while pressing the brakes, the car was hard to stop. Like she needed to press the pedal really hard to get the car to stop.

Mechanics are the unsung heros of our economy. Imagine if no one was there to fix your car or truck when it broke down?
Be like the appliance industry “just buy a new one”
I'll be honest with you, I'm more impressed with your camera skills. how the hell are you doing that one handed and on your back under the steering column.
Because he is an Octopus , has 8 hands .
I am the only one that see that in 2:05 you can see clear that where you press the brake there is a big cut/hole in the black sleeve and just need to patch it
and no need to do all the booster change
i dont want to disrespect you and sure you do a great job
but someting its a small fix
@@victorroff7003 There is no hole bro, that's a dust cover and will not fix the vacuum leak.
@@victorroff7003 That's a beauty cover. The real damage is deeper -- in the diaphragm -- which is impossible to see.
I usually never get to see videos as soon as they’re uploaded because I don’t have notifications enabled but never have I been more excited to see a video of Angel at work. Keep up the grind bro!
Just the right video that I needed, ran into the same issue and found the perfect how to video. I love how you show your struggles, people think fixing cars is easy, it really isn't, a lot of bruised knuckles, scratches, scrapes, cuts, sore muscles and body contortion needed to do the job.
One of the best produced and most informative automotive repair videos I've seen on YT. Thank you.
Saludos de Puerto Rico. I rarely ever leave comments on these types of videos, but I feel it is my obligation to thank you for your time, patience, and willingness to share your knowledge and experience with others. I have very limited of either with this type of work on my car. Thanks to you I won't have to miss a day of work or pay an insane amount of money to have someone do this for me. With lockdowns, curfews, and limited capacities I would have had to wait 2 months for my mechanic to help me. Your video allowed me to accomplish something I'd never think myself capable of doing in a day. So, again, thank you for this. I hope you keep getting work, uploading some amazing videos, and keep helping others as you've helped me.
P.S. I won't ever get the 49 dislikes. It blows my mind that trolls are never going to stop being a thing.
man i love the fact that you really REALLY trying your best to show us everything clearly. wow... you are awesome
I truly love the detailed videos you managed to take. That was more impressive than the work you actually did which was also very good
I like ,that you put that background music when you wake up 😂..!! 15:36
It felt like forever waiting for another wonderful video Angel. You get in an get the job done. Don't even hear the swearing. Great to see. Keep up the good work. God bless
I was going to take my car to the mechanic tomorrow. After seeing your video you just save me a lot of money in repairs!! Thank you bro!!✌️🙏
this is real deal mechanic , good job!
Yeah he definitely is a real deal mechanic. I did a timing belt job because of him.
Great video. I have a 2001 Camry and replaced that large intake tube (RockAuto) for like $17. That smaller bellows piece is integral to the intake air resonator and 2”was OEM Toyota only and so was more expensive - around $44 on Amazon? - to replace. The rubber just gets old and brittle. Thanks for showing how it’s done man
I have learned a lot by watching you working on all the car !! Thank you like all your posts 🤙🤙
Hey Angel. I always like your video. I miss my UTI form Exton, PA. We talk back then on this CZcams channel. I graduated on November 2007 at UTI Exton, PA. That brake booster from Cardone that is a great product because their headquarter in Philadelphia, PA that is where I am at. Cardone product is always good and have been in the business over 100 years. That brake booster have the same issued like my dad 1999 Toyota RAV4 but it wasnt hissing sound but the brake pedal cant even go back to the position after you press the brake pedal so my dad knew it was the brake booster was bad. Cost him over $1500 to get it repairs but that mechanic rips off my dad by saying the brake booster was new when they got it from junkyard because my dad know about car so he notice the brake booster was used and at the time I didnt even know much about cars in 2000 when I was still in college at the time. Anyway, I will always follow your video. Stay safe and stay healthy. Thank you Angel. @FixItAngel
Yeah you know we have some mechanic crooks in PA I GOTTA TRAVEL OUT TO MORRISVILLE PA FROM PHILADELPHIA FOR MY MECHANIC UNREAL.
My man. Easily the best maintenance video out there for exactly the problem I have. Will be diving head first this week and doing this myself instead of pay a couple hundred bucks at the shop. Thanks for this and I'll let you know how it goes. This is killer brah.
So how did it go??
Thanks for the video Angel. You make it look so easy.
All the best.
Great video and diagnosis sharing! Diagnosis is always hard. Old days, they did make some good car, they have room to work on!
Thank you so much! I have watched hundreds of videos and those one is perfect. I have been without my car for 3 months trying to figure out what the real issue is and now I know and I now I know how to fix it!
U make it look easy. Good job keep up the good work not everyone can be a camera man and mechanic at the same time.
Your skill set is out of this world, one handed action
You are the man!!!!! Fantastic, clear-cut; perfect! Thank you for sharing!!!
Thx, Angel - I'll be doing a booster replacement soon on my 2001 Solara and this was a big help. Looks like I'll have an afternoon on my shoulder, so I'd better get on my rotator cuff therapy before I order parts.
Very fine instructional repair/replace video you made! Very good and excellent help for me as a Toyota owner! Big THANK to you, dear, sir, and best regards and wishes from Sweden!
another job well done again! and learned new mechanic job that will add to my diy someday. thanks idol kababayan from chicago
Love to watch your video! Show very clear how to removes parts and install… very helpful…
LOLLLLLLLLLL. You did most if not all of that job one handed! #shaolin palm!! 🤣🤣👍👍🤙🤙 great video Angel. Thank you
Yes, another good video to watch. Thank you!!!
Keep these videos coming man!
I'm so mechanically inept but I enjoy watching these videos!
I like the tool you use to work, it is observed to be of very good quality, you also show great ability to work, you are a genius, I send you my regards from Navojoa, Sonora, Mexico
Top video! Thanks for taking the time. Cheers Steve
Photography is unmatched & you don't gloss over anything ( amazing ) this episode I'v been looking for but its a Honda - thanks - I Subscribed !!!
thank you!! i appreciate you for subscribing. stay safe and stay well
I have a 2002 Camry v6 . It seems I have replaced everything in the last year . 125 k and the motor is quite like out of the dealer . This looks like my next project is the timing belt . Lot's of respect for what you do and taking the time to make videos in between .
i got the same but 97 v6 do you know if the job is the same since this one is inline 4
@@NULL1312 pretty much everything isdifferent from the 4 cylinder to the 6 . Don't let anybody tell you differently . Including the struts ECT ....
@@zcustomcarnesi thanks brotha appreciate the info 🙏
looked all over and finally found this good booster replacement video. Not sure what state he's in but if I tried to pass the Calif smog check with the black tape he used to fix the intake tube the car wouldn't pass inspection. Id have to get a new tube. I have all the tools necessary except for the soccer ball. Thanks!!!
Music made a big difference in this video. Great job. 96 Camry Booster went out couple years ago. Shocked to see how much this part was. For a car only worth less than 1500, time to let her retire. Good workhorse. Must have been around same life 250k. Solid vehicle rest her soul. Get a dust shield now, cheap and thin and flexible for the tight space, dust face.
This video helped a lot. I had to replace the clutch master cylinder on my camry and removing this booster is a necessity.
great job I'll be replacing mine today.... God bless you and have a happy Thanksgiving
Nice 👍 dint think brake boosters where that expensive 😱 enjoyed the video!
very clean video. appreciate the tutorial!
Those Camry's run forever
Did your a lifesaver...
Thanks for the awesome video. I have to do mine in a 98 Camry Ce and I thinking master cylinder is leakin too
Filming every bolt removal in that cramped cabin is real dedication.
Nice job Angle, It"s no dought it is a task! I will be performing the same on a Toyota Matrix!
Good job,
Very informative video,
Especially detail work clearly with camera eye.
Wow, thanks, that was epic. Any concerns with re-using that gasket in between the MC and the booster? It looked a bit sketchy.
Thanks for sharing your knowledge and skills with us.
God bless from 🇨🇦. ✌🏻 stay safe and carry on 👍 Toyota back on the road. When your appreciated and do good deeds small rewards follow
how thanks alot for this video im chwck my car soon it had the same sound but way louder hopefully its this n fixable 👍🏻
I appreciate your attention to detail.
My 2000 corolla still has original starter and alternator as well. I am in Ontario Canada with harsh winters which makes it even more impressive. 👍
nice awning bro! thx for videos and information! very professional sir!!
Great work thank you.
I finally got around to my brake booster. It was not as easy to pull out on a 97 lexus es300. The bracket on the charcoal canister is in the way. Very irritating trying to loosen those 3 10mm screws, but I finally got it out. Now I have the joy of putting them back in.....geeeez
Muy bien Bro saludos desde Honduras 🇭🇳👍 excelente
You are good in the car, thanks, learn lots about it, useful

I think volleyball is now a necessity for a mechanic 😎
Nothing like working on your back, upside down, in a cramp area. Thanks Angel!

Good morning angel, George from Corinth Greece. I am very happy for you. Some time ago I did the same job in corolla 2007 4zzfe 1.4. All is well but the prices of the dealership are on fire .. Hahaha good morning be well, good work and more videos
Good Morning George, wow Corinth Greece. I would love to visit someday. Yes dealership prices are ridiculous. stay safe and stay well brother
just did a google search on master cylinder replacement. clicked on this video and a Guam flag/ Filipino flag pop up! solid!
Saludos de México muy buenos vídeos
Whew, good grief! Another great video Mr Angel! Yesterday I had a choice to make. Which do I start on 1st: brake booster or cv axle? I got under the dashboard, claustrophobia kicked in.......I said bump this, axle it is! I don't know how I'm gonna deal with that tight spot? I might have to remove the seat, either way gotta get the job done
A nice work dear....the surrounding environment very awesome....
Thank you angle for all your videos me too im a mechanical nd like your work nd i wish you a good luck all time nd i appreciate that thank you again #mounir from algeria#🎩🎩

Master Mechanic!!!
*09 Camry with 250k plus miles and running. Valve gasket change, water pump, belts, and just suspension parts have been the biggest fixes. Nope never changed the plugs lol*
