Have you thought of also living in an assisted living complex? you and Jim would most likely qualify as well as Jims mom. You and Jim would have your own apartment, and Jims mom would have her own, but all in the same facility. They can be really great places, and a lot of them have a facility attached in case you need more care than assisted living provides. Some of these facilities even have places to go down and eat if you dont feel like cooking, and people to help with daily tasks. You may want to ck into something like that for all three of you....

She just moves it from one spot to another, then right back where it was. Barely put anything in the yard sale box.. she's done this organizing crap at least 15 plus times ..

I moved from one state to another almost 4 years ago. I can honestly say that it's amazing what you can live without when you are the one having to pack it on the truck and unload it in the new place. Lol ~ I didn't bring any furniture with me. Just boxes (smaller boxes work the best because they're easier to load.) Most of my boxes consisted of photos, craft supplies, and my clothes. The good part is that I had already decluttered by the time I settled down in the new place. Best of luck to both you and Jim.
Why don't you use your scooter you got for the cruise for shopping?
I’m confused. Is Jim going to be on disability or will he get paid to take care of you? If he’s on disability, I assume the state will believe he’s not fit to take care of you.
