    Blessings Manning’s Man, the time line that D. Chung gave us on the show and watching the former coach press conference does not make any sense and this is the reason why transparency is so important in our football

    Honestly, JFF needs to get in order before start pointing fingers and some Jamaicans are putting the focus on everything and everyone else except JFF. You can love your country and still don't put up with the BS, and that's what Bailey did. Jamaica can get a good coach cause and that is much needed cause there a good players available but the level of football must get better on the field to achieve better results. Straight

    Not surprisingly he was asked about his willingness to recruit Masin Greenwood. Grimm skillfully threw it onto the JFF and said he politically agreed with the idea because the Prezi and the JFF had already voiced their willingness to accept the player. HmmmnnnđŸ€”

      That was always gonna come to the forefront. He did well in his answer. The president and CEO at the time went public saying they wanted the best and was actively pursuing Greenwood.

    57 years old. 135 senior men's games as a manager (including co-manager) 102 as a manager on his own and a win rate of less than 40%. FIFTY SEVEN and 102 matches on his own. Christ. By contrast Trap had 1350+ games to his name before he came to us.

    • @LeMerch
      @LeMerch Pƙed 21 dnem +5

      40% win rate at this level is good. He also drew 24%. That’s a 64% success rate for the most part.
      Let’s take a look at McCarthys:
      During his 68 games in charge, the Republic of Ireland won 29, drew 20 and lost 19.
      That’s a 43% win ratio.
      So you are saying that because he has a 3% less win ratio than our most successful manager in history.. he’s not qualified to manage Ireland? Explain that one to me

      @@imnothere220 playing hoof ball? Yeah right. He was great for his time, because it was all new. Nostalgia makes things seem better than they were but I watched those games. We were muck. And had fantastic footballers. Sad waste. I respect the man but Mick took on far better opponents, and had better results. Either way, my point is that these managers had a similar win loss ratio. We have to also face the fact that we are more or less minnows in European football now, we aren’t anywhere near the big boys anymore.

      @@LeMerch People look at what he's "done" from the surface and say he's been successful... I will tell you that success is subjective, and when you point out some of the main more notable markers for success that he has had it paints a picture of him as a manager that I don't necessarily think is showing the truth.
      I've seen countless interviews of him and more importantly, seen him on the field coaching our team and I'm completely unimpressed. He was shown to be completely out of his depth on multiple games from the very start, he has also been very stubborn, and his tactics have also been 99% defensive and maybe 1% attacking minded. His changes he makes during the game make absolutely no sense whatsoever most of the time, and they constantly end up costing the team.
      By the stroke of luck he has been successful, and against top-level teams he has shown he can get maybe a draw or 2 but other than that, absolutely nothing whatsoever.
      We may not be the best team but he could have played much better football with our pool of players. Heimir didn't give 100% to our Copa America campaign and he basically used Jamaica as a stepping stone to get a higher level job as soon as it arrived. Ultimately this guy is totally a fraud and I doubt he will last long in Ireland.
