This is Bay Shipbuilding in Sturgeon Bay Wisconsin and the shipping season is closed during the winter on the Great Lakes so this is one of the shipyards where ships go for winter layup and some of the ships have maintenance done on them during this time all of the ships on the Great Lakes require a mandatory inspection every 5 years I use to work there
At time stamp 4:38, whats being done to the Barker. By the way, this is really cool. I've been watching the Duluth shipping canal live web cam this fall/early winter, and I've seen the Barker come into port. Keep up the good work.
I use to work at Bay Ship and I’m just guessing but if you look closely you can see a small crane on the ships deck which is called a carry deck crane and it’s possible they had to cut a hole in the side of the ship to replace some kind of equipment and then they would have to prep and weld back the piece they cut out
5:20 that is the Rodger Blough and she is a shuttle unloader and does not have a conveyor boom she has a conveyor in the stern that can extend out either side to unload so some people call it a side unloader

I've never seen drone footage of Bay Ship! This footage is very cool.
