Me too. Third time.. I love this place. I came when they first opened in 2019 with the kids and once for my birthday. The hospitality is awesome. And yes the lazy river is chill. That alone is an all day experience. but bring your own tube.

@@relaxmoda the beach in front of the resort had lots of sea weed but the lagoon was super Nice, we also saw wild horses

Yeah this isn’t a review it’s an ad. The restaurants at this resort are sub par and booking them is a total hassle.

How did you get to the resort from the airport?

This is not a review but an add, and not a representative one at that. Went there for 1 week, hard to get a greeting from the staff especially the waiting staff. Food was ordinary at best except for the Japenese restaurant Sakura (quite entertaining) and the French restaurant Blue Moon, although do not rely on the "somalier's" knowledge as she recommended wine before we had decided on our meal. Good luck getting a reservation for specialty restaurants as they only take them the morning of which means you need to line up at 6AM to be first in line at 8AM when reservations open. The buffet offered a good selection. White sandy beaches nowhere to be found, rocks, pebbles and algea. No beach service. The rooms were clean and spacious. The housekeeping staff was friendly and helpful. Too bad we couldn't say the same about the rest of the staff who, nonetheless, still expected tips. If you take a day trip, strongly suggest booking through Bavaro Runners as they delivered what was promised contrary to some other companies who fell considerably short in delivering activities and services as promised.
How much seaweed was there? Is it still swimmable?
fly in febuary or march in that months there is less seaweed and you can watch whales
It's pretty bad but can't blame the resort. I have seen them clean it and in two hours its right back.

@@relaxmoda To be honest I love the resort but every time we went the beach was filled with it. Yeah it is swimmable but it can be gross. The lazy river is the bomb. Let me know if you have a different experience. And be nice to the guys at the lobby bar that are mad cool. Enjoy your vacation.
