I am from a Nordic country. I think Kenyans know that we are doing quite ok.
Currently, we have a prime minister with a university degree.
We have had 3 prime ministers in the past 70-80 years with no academic background. The most successful one was rolling cigars prior to being prime ministers.
You see, they represent the people. And the people are not all academics.And if they don't, then they are voted out by next election.
But then a huge difference is that we do not for one second tolerate or allow corruption here. Unlike Kenya.

The law is very clear, those running for presidential seats just like governors must have a degree among other credentials. It doesn't say that they're in the process of getting nor does it say that they'll eventually be awarded degrees.
