Well done Tony, I really like this trailer. I wouldn't park it out side the supermarket where they use this type of cart.

@@zamzammrfixit3113 on some carts it says to call the number n tell them where to pick it up at, but i dont know how good that works out if they pick it up or not, also some say its a crime n the police can punish you for it jail time n fine, but i dont know how much that is enforced? If the cart dont say this stuff then finders keepers, unless you want to return it, but some have no labels n is free game

Thank you for creating this video. Got some ideas from it. Well done.
Made one out of a trolley and a children's trailer. Removed the nylon tent and placed the trolley on. Good because the trailer pulls from the axial so less likely to throw you off the bike. Also very easy to make. Made from recycled parts, I found at the recycle yard.
When I was a young boy, did it like this. But I used two bolts and nuts welded together to made the tow hitch off the seat stem. But it was not good if the trailer had weight in it. It became dangerous. Constantly tried to push me off the bike. Off the axle it limits and lowers center push on the bike.
But i like this a lot great idea. I made my latest one for my son. So safety was on my mind and experience that I had. Trolleys are left every where around here, so why not. I felt i was stealing, but they can afford it. Also fun project with my son.
Removed all recognition to the supermarket of course.

Could you also make a CZcams video, that shows how to replace each of the four hard rubber casters on a shopping cart, with four 10 inch or four 13 inch air filled tires. Both sizes, of air filled tires, are available at Harbor Freight Tools.

As someone who has alot of experience pulling trailers with a bicycle. The only issue I see is the fact that the trailer will weigh 50 lbs or over 20 kilos if u prefer.
Ya heavy, but good for e bikes pulling lots of weight with trailer

Never thought about welding up some shopping carts with my everlast welder to make something else before. Unfortunately free shopping carts aren't readily available where I am.

You can legally buy carts from several places. Scrapyards would be the best, than wholesale dealers of used Grocery Store Equipment.
I looked on ebay and none would ship or they said you must have a dock and forklift stupid i have ordered heavy bigger items ups door to door shipping

every one can purchase a retire shopping cart from a store just make sure you get a slipt fort it. there not expensive around $15 dollars.

People who steal shopping carts act like they have every right to do so and then if anything happens to their garbage it's up to their imagination as to what they'll do about it, usually something violent.
