The thing with Ontario knife scales, they make them big so you can shape it to fit your hand. A round file, and a piece of bar and sandpaper, you can shape it like the new esee scales. Makes it very comfortable! Their 5160 is awesome!

I love Ontario’s . I recently scored a great deal on an ASEK on eBay . It’s a modernized version of the pilot survival knife . Even though they went out of business a lot of retailers are still selling remaining inventory .

The Blackbird is a great knife. I messed with one years ago when they were either 154CM or CPM154, I can't remember which. A spear point is one of my favorite blade designs.

Ive always considered Ontario as a fair to midland knife company. Definitely knives i would have no problem taking into the woods for any length of time.
Exactly brother I think everybody kind of understands you might have to hone it up hell you might have to even put a new age on it but they're tough and they're durable and they're well made for great price

Oh you love all the knives lol they make a sk 4 too basically same knife just 4 inch mine use to be everything under the sun except batoning I never got into that

I got 2 sk4 I edc one got an extra just in reserve. 154cm has been great so far. I've used my sk4 alot. It's small enough for me to pocket carry.
My favorite carry style for sure I love a pocket a pocket fixed blade
