Trucks are the best example of quantum mechanics that you can show people. Not in the area and just looking at the map? Working just fine. In the area and actually watching them? WHAT IS GRAVITY?!

It's quite clear that trucks in Satisfactory are quantum particles. i.e. The act of observing them affects their behaviour.

If you fully encapsulate the road in a tunnel, will that keep the trucks out of sight enough that they don't need to be rendered & they can go about their business without slowing down?

thats why i dont use more then just 1 or 2 trucks aerly game.
i get that it only happens in render range.... but that also means i have to look at it.

Great Video Bitz, i love how crazy trucks can be in close proximity to each other. keep it up man.
I prefer to use trucks for places where building out more train trackage would be impractical. They really have improved the performance but when you have a bunch going at once the bugs still crop up....
They're handy for going through caves and stuff.
72 trucks is kind of overkill
I find that trucks do work but on a smaller scale. at a certain point the scaling becomes too much and you end up with traffic issues like this.
@itsbitz i have a question. Since the trucks basically teleport between nodes. When a pioneer isn't watching could you delete everything between the stop and start and have teleporting trucks?
This is true, it will work if you are out of render range
@@ItsBitz does it make the transport of the items faster as they don't have to travel between all the other nodes?

Looks to me like everything is working fine, as satisfactory goes. Remember your working on an alien planet not earth. So with the lighter gravity it's perfectly natural for trucks to drive in mid air. 😂🙃😂🙂🙃

I hope Coffee Stain finds a solution for the truck problems, would be a shame to delay 1.0 for this. On the other hand, you put a lot of trucks on one road, are you sure the logistics couldn't be solved with just a couple of truck stops but more trucks per stop?

Is it not possible to let the water delivery trucks pick up the empty bottles on their way back?
Unfortunately not, because if they went to a Full Station, they would not empty their load, meaning, when they collect the emptes, they will return with empty and Full bottles, meaning they will then unload them both onto the same line and cause issues. Unless a Big load balance job was created on the water side

Yep. This is why I have had to rip up every single truck stop I have in my world and say eff it I'll go with trains. Outside some of their wonky handleing their issue with how they work when rendered vs not rendered really breaks things bad. My biggest truck station had just 3 truck stops to deliver to. 2 trucks per stop, and yeah, same issue. It was a mess then found one had some how vanished and ended up under the map at 0, 0,... yeah tractors and trucks have become a waste of time. Don't get me started on the explorer and how it handles. I get around faster via jetpack then fighting with that slippery thing.
