  • Learn how to quickly and accurately remove color casts from real estate photography images. This works on all kinds of photography methods including flambient, HDR, and single exposure RAW files. This technique will work across the board and with highly effective and controllable results, more than with just Lightroom Classic, but with a somewhat hidden tool in Photoshop. Great video. My main income is RE photography but I also do a lot of other types as well. The funny thing is I am quite familiar with this technique but never bothered to use this technique in RE photography to quickly target color cast areas. Yesterday I had a house with hardwood floors, oak cabinets, white ceiling and a lot of greenery outside. I so could have used this yesterday. It is now in my toolbox along with many tools you have shown me through your content and books. Thank you.

    Thank you for always sharing your expert knowledge. I have a part time business doing real estate photography with about 6 years in the game. I eventually transitioned from HDR to flambient method by watching your videos. There’s a learning curve to it, and I’m still improving, but it’s been worth it! I have much better control of my work thanks to you. I appreciate it

    Thanks for the tutorial. Surely it wouldn't be that hard for adobe to create a mask in Lightroom classic to simply reduce saturation of a colour. It's a no brainer. Not sure why they want to make it more complex

    Awesome! So satisfying desaturating color cast 😆🤘🏼 would the quick selection tool be a good option to use in selecting say the furniture?
    Also, been enjoying your 360 tour videos. Obviously dslr tours are the best quality… but was wondering your thoughts on using technology such as phone and fisheye lens tours using something like Asteroom in place of using a 360 camera. Is that a good option??

      Thanks! Glad this was useful. It depends on how much time you want to take...in this case I wouldn't recommend the QS tool.

    Hi Nathan, thanks for your video. What do u think about the "blur">>"average">>"curvesadjustment"-method?

    • @NathanCoolPhoto
      @NathanCoolPhoto  Před rokem

      Thanks! I actually invented that method. It's in my books, my course, and briefly in a video on my YT channel. That method isn't for color cast; I developed it to imitate auto white balance algorithms. WB and color cast are separate issues, so the technique here is more for casts than WB. It's good to know more than one method, and practice to know when to apply each.
