Here in Namibia scandi just does not work. Most of our wood types are tough. The whole east of the country is taken up by the Kalahari desert, the west by the Namib with mostly Acacia woodland down the center. Luckily it is easy to change scandi ground knives to scandivex. That does the trick. You loose some of the biting ability of the edge, but at least it does not roll on you.😊

If you wonder what kamrat means. It is Swedish and means friend. I have seen before that LTW sometimes use swedish words as names for their knifes.
That LTW is a nice little knife, looks solid and comfortable.
