- A 1957 bigfoot/sasquatch sighting happened up Mica Mountain, near the site of the abandoned mica mine. His sworn Affidavit can be found at sasquatchalberta.com/classic-...
We decided to go camping for the night as close as we could get to the site, and film what we saw.

I think Bigfoot would sit down with Steve and have a step two, and talk about how they both love stealth camping.
They actually just want to play hide and seek at night time...
They aren't impressed by what we call stealth, Steve would sit there in awe but with a sense of fear that his new friend will rip him apart at any moment in the silence of it all.
They will never get close with the fire going, when you feel and hear them near put your fire out but leave your city egos at home and you'll be surprised what they let you do.
@@mattymiller3789 You sound like a true believer... and like someone who doesn't understand the joke.
Great comments dude
Probably with a beer😂
Why the hell should it surprise you that people that have had experiences no longer find anything at all funny about it.
Sasquatch - “I saw Steve, but no one believed me.”
PlumbsmartPaul OMG. I laughed WAYYYYY to hard at this....
🤣😂🤣
Truth
😂😂😂😂😂
Sasquatch says, "I don't believe in you, either."
"I slept like a baby waking up every half hour screaming" hearing Steve's wife chuckle at that is perfect.
Especially knowing we can't have her in videos now 😭 I get so sad when I find one of these videos where her "appearance" is made 😭❤️
Jess certainly made an impact on us. Such a sweet lady and good wife to Steve.
This guy is great. Who wouldn't want to go camping with this guy. The food is more important than the sasquatch sightings!
Sasquatch is a total party animal. He showed up at my campsite with a freshly killed deer he expected me to field dress and cook for him while he chugged all my beers and stole my weed. He would later save my life though when I slipped on a sheer edge sandstone trail so we good.
I like this bloke. He doesn’t pretend to know it all. Doesn’t act like an expert.
He's simply great. Somehow very entertaining. I don't think he realizes how funny he really is.
If he is around dangerous bears, etc... he needs to act like he knows something....
Precisely! He doesn't "act", He's just real (which is way cool👍)!
@@monicasmith7050 get out of here with that bs
That's why we all love him! 😊
Black bear scat has berries in it. Grizzly scat has little bits of flannel and smells like bear spray.
Hahaha👍👣❤️🏴
LOL!!
They both kill humans, black bears will actually hunt and eat humans though. But thanks for the laugh. Lol
lol :)
ha lol.
Imagine while you're banging on the tree waiting for a bigfoot response, a group of teens camping in the same area hear your tapping and panic ensues for them. Lol
Your videos are so zen for me. Please keep doing what you've been doing. You are admired and appreciated, and we viewers will always see Jess in your work.

🤣🤣🤣🤣🤙🏻
The original sighting was so detailed, and by an outdoorsman, so it raises so many questions (BC has a history with Sasquatch and this encounter was peaceful in comparison to others)
and yet a large mammal leaves zero droppings, zero hair, literally zero evidence that isn't just humans saying what they think they saw
Yes true. My good friend saw one when he was hunting up in northern BC.

I know the feeling well. Careful though, easy to enter in a habit dynamic. We should allow that mindset sparingly IMO ;-)
Hahahaha
Thanks Steve for your wholesome, positive videos. They are much appreciated in the times we live in. Be safe out there my friend and enjoy your time camping.
Steve, every time I come across one of your videos. I really enjoy all your stealth camping adventures. What I thoroughly enjoy is your funny witty commentary.
Your videos are so unique, and that's what we all enjoy.
Thank you.
Steve: “There’s totally something outside right now.”
Bigfoot (whispering): “Hey bro, I heard your distress signal earlier. It took a while to find you. Are you ok?”
Yes and the Bigfoot will have an Australian accent
Lol

How great would it have been after Steve smacks the tree with the stick to hear a voice yell back “Hunker down”
My life has its problems at the moment but planning a camping trip is really helping everything because I keep thinking about it and when I'm thinking about camping I'm feeling happy
Wow, that night sky was spectacular!!! So beautiful!!!
The mountains in the background, wow, couldn't stop watching them. Nice to hear beautiful wife giggling behind the camera. You two stay well.
Somebody across the valley is convinced that a Sasquatch has been banging a tree through out the night...
And that is how it started
I was at a rural cabin in Newfoundland the first time I saw a night sky like that and it’s truly breathtaking ❤

Steve, I haven't camped in a tent or outside since high school. My son (22 yrs old) has always camped in a motorhome w grandparents with cable TV, air conditioning, etc. He is now asking to camp without electricity (ha ha). So you have inspired me and we are stocking up with a lot of things you use, a tent, cots, and sleeping bags. Really looking forward to it!! Thanks, Steve!!!
That is awsome ,enjoy
2 years later, I want to know how it went because my 11 year old keeps asking me and I've never been camping where I'm person responsible for making sure we have everything we need, etc. 😂
Hopefully a good time was had by all..
@@Natasha___.there are videos on CZcams that could teach you step by step just look up how to camp for first time in a tent or however your planning on doing it. Practice putting up your tent at home before u go if it's a harder one to put up is my advice if u have never done it.
This is my idea of camping. Watch Steve camp. I enjoy it so much. Best of all I get to stay home. Thanks for the great time, Steve.
😂 I literally woke up horrified at 4am to cows licking the rain and dew off my tent! I had no EARTHLY IDEA at the time. I was surrounded by giant shadows and it looked like whatever it was was punching the top and sides of my tent.... ALL AROUND! When I finally figured it out I was so relieved, but I was in real danger of being trampled on. Glad you both came out ok! Camping can get scary real fast no matter how experienced you are!

25:39 IF YOUR CAR... has a remote with an alarm/panic button, sometimes that's the fastest & easiest way to scare off critters from your campsite... a blaring car horn and flashing lights.
Beautiful scenery and a great video!
That's an excellent idea!!! Thanks!!!
Panic buttons won't work if I'm around. I actually know how to mind my own business. Unlike your average stereotypical American.
, just don’t hit the remote start.the Sasquatch will drive away with your ride.
Skeptic here too. Tent Camped in the Sierras in California many many times for 40 years, still do. I don’t believe in them, but everyone is different and I respect that.

The dude would not need much of a costume ;)

“Nothing suspicious, but time for something delicious.” The slogan for Steve’s new line of camp food.
It's just food in a can but the cans aren't lined.

Steve's garage has gotta be stuffed from floor to ceiling with camping gear at this point. I'm envious. I wish I had a garage for all my camping crap.
6th video, brand new gear every time? No army surplus stores out there? Stealth & lasts a lifetime. Maybe ppl are sending him too much $.
Except for the ice fishing tent and that next to useless 8 person tent, everything is cheap to mid-price... and that 8 person tent is only pricey because of its size...
It doesn't take much wood to build one what would cost me is shingles and siding
The county doesn't come ask me can they fix the road or is it ok for us to build a sidewalk on our property so i don't go ask them but do call before digging
My garage is brimming. It's a drag actually. Best to have your favs and get rid of the rest. I am slowly working thru it.
his hammock seems to be the only constant while all the other gear gets bought and then bought a-gain a trip or two later.
You should totally buy a trail cam so we can see what, if anything, is poking around your camp at night. Wont be a bigfoot but might catch some deer or something...?
That's a good idea he could just put a battery cam outside the tent each time so he could see on his phone what's out there and not stay awake all night going aahhhhhhh
When u are desperate for views and have run out of ideas
@@trumpingtonfanhurst694 Good idea . We have several SOLAR lights that are motion activated . Nice to leave the light out in the tent and look out to the LIT area where the squatch is ( :D ) was . They have saved me / us a lot of grief in bear country at night .

@@indycharlie with all due respect I go camping to enjoy nature, the stars etc. I’d hate anyone leaving motion lights all night, specially since I tent camp, lights after certain hour are for the city, they’d be keeping me up at night.
That sky is so beautiful.
My son and I camped on a beach in Hong Kong once. In the middle of the night we woke up to some snorting and heavy breathing. Looked outside the tent and discovered we were surrounded by a herd of feral water buffalos who decided our spot was the best place to spend the night.
They were no trouble and we slept soundly after that.

No one is truly homeless. We live here on this ground just like every other creature and we have an inherent right to make shelter and sleep on it when we need to. Your sense of propriety is very refreshing. Your unwavering demand for freedom is inspiring and patriotic even. Thanks for your great videos Steve, you're looking good out there!.
Great comment
I wish we had more freedom to roam in Quebec. Coming from the UK, that’s the biggest thing I miss.
Same feeling here in UK, more and more rights removed, less and less freedoms, UK actually going through biggest changes with regards land/farming in 70yrs without taxpayers being involved, I'm fed up of all the secrecy, like we're labrats.
What do you mean Ian UK is some of the least freedom in the world for camping and hiking, every bit of land has been annexed long ago. Quebec has a massive amount of crown land and provincial parks you can do whatever in. The USA is the best country for freedom of camping and roaming though by far along with high level infrastructure

Hi. LOVE. LOVE. SCENERIES. LANDSCAPE. CAMPING.
Camping in a BigFoot zone is one thing, but trying to call it in with hitting sticks on the tree is another level. You're braver in that regard than I am.

I finally got around to watching this video.... one of my favorite Steve adventures! The location is absolutely stunning. I share your morbid fear of bears and I had a lot of anxiety just watching you in this video! I believe in the possibility of ‘yet to be discovered’ life.... so thank you for being a trooper and checking out the area. Also know that people sometimes keep exotic wildlife as pets and they sometimes escape - or are released into the wild when they become unmanageable. You never know what might be out there! I have a question for you experienced outdoors people..... what IS the best course of action if you’re in a tent and you hear something? Should you stay inside and remain quiet? Turn on lights, make noise, go out and face it? I’m not a camper - though I’d like to be. 🏃♀️🐻
stay put,stay quiet and listen
