its actually very easy to beat monkey spammers.when he climbs on his staff, there's a blind spot where you will be safe. stand in a place not too far away from him, and not directly under him either....just maintain this moderate distance and stand in that one place. when he uses ascension attack he wont be able to hit you and you can easily grab him unless he cancels ascension. works ALL of the time and ive beaten maxed dojo level 13 mk spammers without much effort.
still regenerate though 😒

i only knew it for that then suddenly this was recomended i only knew about 1 and 2 and now they arent even shadows anymore but the movement is similar

it's not so complicated, instead of jumping on him (which can be risky) or trying to roll away (which might just not work sometimes) you can simply counter his attack if he tries using it, if he tries to attack just use an attack that hits the upper part of the screen and are relatively fast (usually up attacks) and it will most of the time hit them and knock them out of ascension.

I often use the Monkey King technique mainly against campers, they just back up and attack from a distance. It doesn't make the game as fun as it could be but it's not always the case, it's a shame. But luckily I manage to counter Jingu's technique

Tip: For monkey king spammers ajuma is perfect, if monkey king uses uses the upper attach , you can use ajuma's back spinning attack it will hit the monkey king.

I keep rolling towards them the moment the monkey King gets onto the staff and there's actually a blind spot when the staff move cannot hit you when you roll close enough.... Worked out well for me.... Once you break this barrier the camper's confidence would go miles down and it probably would be an easy win

A well timed jump kick usually puts an end to that bullshit for me when I get spammed. What really annoys me is when players pause or delay the game to get a hit on you. not sure how they do it but it always happens when they are pretty close to losing
You can climb down if you just double swipe down
They don't do it. They usually have really bad connection. The game pauses for them so that the connection is fixed.

That just shows how his first opponent has no skill whatsoever. And he kept spamming back attack as well. And once monkey king was defeated he became bad and couldn’t spam with his other characters 😂

You can just use upper attack when he tries to hit you forward. Go to him and if he use back attack - make a step and grab him, if he make forward attack - hit.

Block break mechanic really is a tricky one.
It forces you to dodge and honestly, I pretty much hate it with the monkey king.

They really should nerf the blocking system and make it similar to the soulsborne games where u will have a limited stamina and it will be consumed while blocking and recharge overtime so and the block will break after stamina is empty. This change will teach these pathetic campers who like to rub their asses on the walls whole day a lesson.

Hey a question. I got to try out the legion king and while I liked hin and his moveset, I found his basic very lackluster in range, but you use it a lot, is there any reason why?
It has big range + it's fast + can trick opponent (sometimes they think that they can counter attack while you are doing basic but they end up by sword in their face)

There's a small area where MK can't hit you when he uses Ascension. Just stand right on that point, and you will be safe

There is a blind spot where both ascensions will miss and you'll be able to get a free grab off of it. Not that hard to deal with ascension

It's hard to beat this monkey but there's a way you need to get as close to him as possible don't even give him a single space bcs if you do the it will be hard to beat him if you give him space then he can easily read your movement
