I completely agree with this. We lost our dog in 2020. We really struggled with our home feeling empty but also didn't think we were ready to get another dog, we didn't want to replace her. Ultimately we ended up adopting 2 dogs back to back. It was a crazy decision but love them both very much. They could never replace their older sister, but we definitely couldn't imagine our lives without them. ❤

Don’t look to Replace bandit but getting a little shelter pet and save a life is so rewarding. We lost our sweet boy several months ago we are still in mourning. But we took in a dig that was disabled and needed a home. He has really helped us all and he gets along so good with our little Yorkies.
I love you guys! Jackson is a thinker just like Tim. I love how you both talk to Jackson and answer his questions in detail and not just brush him off. I do think Jackson could be a chef. He has always loved helping in the kitchen. That’s another thing I admire about you guys. You let Jackson do things and help even when it would be easier to just do it yourself. about the pet situation, I think you're right. From what you show us, right now isn't the right time. You travel a lot, are out a lot during the day and have 2 young kids wanting your attention as well. I 100% think you should consider getting a pet in the future because I saw through the years how well and how loved your other puppers were in your lives, I just think it would be hard to do right now for you both.
As someone who has had many pets over the years, you will never be replacing them. They would want you to give another animal that needs it a deserving home. But of course, that's whenever you're ready for it! Our pets are irreplaceable; they will always be with you even if you get another.

The grief that comes from losing a pet is so hard to overcome. I got my cat when I was 2 years old and she’s my absolute best friend. Unfortunately she passed a year ago and lived for almost 20 years. I’m in a constant state of grief, but it’s brings comfort knowing how loved she was during her lifetime. Bandit was such an angel and the sweetest little guy ever. It never went unnoticed how adored he was by you both. Thank you for sharing his life through your videos as he was adored by us viewers as well. He can never be replaced. Getting a new pet in the future is just a new addition in the family to share the same amount of love with! Thank you for talking about this difficult subject as it brings comfort to many of us. It took me 27 years to get another dog. I had a dog that I loved so much. And when I did get another I loved him just as much as the first one. When you decide to get a dog it will be great. ❤️😊🙏

Our daughter saw that we needed one, even though we said we didn't. She got two for our family. And wow have we enjoyed them. It really makes every day special to have them in our home. And no they never replaced the one that passed away, and I could still cry talking about them. Great to hear you talk about your marriage and how much you enjoy each other. My husband and I are celebrating 40 years and I can't tell you how fast that flew by. And we work together too! Stay close together, and enjoy this precious time. As my mom says (and she and dad have been married over 65 years) GO Make a memory!!! And make it special. Even if it is something so simple as a picnic, a trip to the park, the beach, etc.. Prescott has Thumb Butte which is the core of an extinct volcano, and several neat museums. The first video I saw of you two was Jen's first cruise. I was drawn in by the kind, and gentle way Tim supported Jen's feelings. It was beautiful to see.

You two will know when it's the right time to get a pet for the family. But yes, a new pet will be just that- new and different. It will never be a replacement for Bandit and Armani, just an addition.
It's ok Jenn I understand about not getting not replacing bandit I lost my golden retriever two years ago and I am a dog lover but I can't get another one anytime soon it just hurts too much. I have a pictures of him made out of a blanket I hung on my wall I can't replace him ever. He was one of a kind. Wow I can't believe how many years y'all have been together time does fly. I remember started watching you when y'all first started. Iam your age now. I wish I lived close by I would totally hang out.
