    Seeing the original video years ago, I can really tell where the editing has improved. Good job mate, keep doing what you’re doing! There’s obvious signs of improvement!

    The powers that be just don’t get it to spend so much time and money on making firearm Lawes to make gun ownership harder for Australian shooters when we are not the problem we are just easy targets for gun control

      Problems of authoritarianism aside, it is amusing to watch them so carefully craft the legislation to restrict what guns can be made and sold. It’s then fun to watch the manufacturers come up with relatively simple workarounds to effectively nullify the new law.

    • @CrazyDog651
      @CrazyDog651 Před 4 lety +6

      i2rtw Laws are never being worked around. The guns are being made within the law to comply with the law. There is no such thing as a loophole.

    Hi guys great video and info here. I just picked up my 308 synthetic version today and will be doing a Hunting review myself in a couple of weeks where this rifle comes into its own will be hunting of a shooting rest on a bike - quad or truck getting multiple shots away with a sight picture that isn't disrupted by recoil or cranking the action almost like the olden days. ?

    After years of dreaming and saving i finally bought one. Had nothing but issues with it mis firing. Bad build quality according to my gunsmith. The action can't handle the recoil and separation of the beach causes a light hammer strike on the primer.
    Gun was returned for a refund. Very disappointed

    I sold mine, it wasn't accurate enough it couldn't do any better than 3 inches at 100m. Plus if you miss time the lever release and push it down while your still holding the trigger it bends a piece in the gun.

    Nice rifle, but as a Canadian I'm kind of glad we don't need to own this. Have basic firearms license which allows us have Non Restricted firearms shipped right to your door with just the PAL number. Which includes basically all manual action firearms that meet the 26* overall length requirement. As well as quite a few semi autos like the SKS, m14, Mini-14, AR-18, Benelli MR1, Bushmaster ACR, Robinson Arms XCR-L and M. Though the AR-15 and all handguns are restricted to ranges and can't be legally shot on private or crown land like Non Restricted.
    Where are you guys allowed to shoot? Are the restrictions on what you can shoot where once you have the different categories of licenses? We just have 3 basic categories. Non Restricted is any firearm not scary enough to be restricted(manual action, and some semis) Restricted (AR-15s,handguns and short barrel NR rifles) and Prohibited (Most semi auto service style firearms/full auto variants and handguns with less than 4,.25" barrels)
    Non Restricted and Restricted licenses are granted to anyone with a clean legal record, doesn't lie about mental illness, and can pass the two courses. 1 day for the non restricted, and another 1 day course for Restricted. While Prohibited licenses must either grandfathered in for individuals, or granted to companies that deal with commercial firearm business.The rules for use for the 3 different licenses are Non restricted can used anywhere in Canada it's legal to discharge a firearm. While Restricted firearms may be shot at range in the home province, but you must request an ATT (Authorization to transport) if you wish to use it out of province or in the US. Though they are fairly easy to get. While prohibs basically can't be shot anywhere without an ATT which they won't grant unless there is some kind of event or it's a company applying for it.
    Sorry for the Essay, but I'm always curious about other countries laws work in relation to ours. Which the commonwealth countries probably influence our laws just as much as the US does in regards to firearms. And of course feel free to ask about anything I didn't cover that you may wonder about.

      So what do you think of it now?

    • @leathery420
      @leathery420 Před 4 lety +1

      @@baneofbanes still think it's a cool design. Though glad I dont need to own one. We recently had a ban, banning half the rifles I listed. Though the SKS, Tavor, Benelli Mr1, AR-18 are still legal while the AR-15, m14, XCR, CX4, vz and others arent.
      Aa couple canadians companies have also designed rifles kind of like this to combat the ban. Though they dont lock back and are just spring assisted straight pull modeled of AR15/18 bolt/recivers without gas or buffer tubes. So you can use all your now prohib AR parts with them.
