I have a 1983 honda 185s and only owned it about 6 months now. I have a small cub cadet tow cart from the 80s I hook it up to and it's been great for hauling cut up fallen trees on my trails. Surprised how well it runs considering its been kicking around 14 years longer than I've been alive.
Cool video, rarely do you see those Polaris 3 wheelers so it’s really neat to see one actually working. I just attempted a trail boss 250 revival on my channel but it’s got enough issues that it’s cost prohibitive to fix it up. Unless I change my mind later lol
@@rockspowersports I’m tempted to fix mine anyway but it’s not really “worth” it lol Happy New year and great content. I think your channel will do good 👍🏻
@@CumminsDriver I just checked yours out, my trailboss is the older version, about the same year as my three wheeler. Yours is probably still with fixing. Have a happy New Year and I’m glad your enjoying the content.
Its been a minute since the last video. Personally I think the long hair looked better on you but whatever. And I see you have created some merchandise. Ill have to check that out. Happy new year. Wishing you the best to come and many more subscribers In 2023 🎉
@Ride and Fun Yes I know.. I’ve had alot going on recently with the holidays and some family things. The Arctic cat parts didn’t come in until yesterday… I’m hoping to get plenty more content out for you in 2023. Thanks for all the support, and have a happy new years.
Honestly any of those cheap ones are not that great. You have a 50/50 chance of them running right. I’d recommend rebuilding your original carb if you still have it.
I ended up buying an brand new mikuni vm22 and then taking my intake tube and elongated the holes with a die grinder So the new carb would fit and I used a mini bike throttle cable. Now my trike starts on the first pull. The only negative is I have to reach under the plastic to use the choke lever but so far I haven't had to use the choke.
Never knew Polaris made a 3 wheeler..i have same Yamaha in blue 84 mine dont seem to be as good pulling... something must be wrong with it?.cuz my honda 200 had alot more torque

@noah evans These old machines are tough for sure. My brother had one of those Honda 185s when we were kids and he couldn’t kill that thing.
Long live the 3 wheelers, 4 wheelers and snowmobiles !
You got that right!

I have a few trailboss 250’s and I know what you mean.. it will cost more to fix them than there actually worth.

Cool comparison Rock! Just need one of those Big Red Honda 3 wheelers to round out the comparison. Very cool seeing the Polaris indeed!
@FlawleZ31 I’ve been keeping my eyes open for a big red. I’ll get one hopefully soon.
@@rockspowersportshow tall are you I want to buy one of these and not sure if I’m too tall for it

these are less like to crush you if you roll it, todays quads are huge
Wow can you make a Video with a three wheeler pull a Farm Plow? or a bigger Trailer?
What would you recommend for a good replacement carb for a yamaha ytm 200? Bought one on Amazon but it has a lot to be desired.

Yamaha is not the only better 3 Wheeler than a Polaris it is also better than the Hondas making the best threewheeler at the time.
