Nemophila have a ballad on all their albums. This one is different because it was written for the opening of an anime movie about to open in Japan. Once you listen a few more times you’ll pick up all the intricate parts. This is one of their best ballads next to their theme song Life in my book.
Thanks for the reaction. I'm looking forward to their new album coming out in a few days. If you find yourself needing some more SAKI solos you may also want to check out her work in Mary's Blood. The Marionette music video from Mary's Blood has a great solo from her, but their entire discography (roughly 100 songs) is full of SAKI solos of all kinds.
Nemophila: quality slow dance for a new generation. 😆
🤘😁🤘
I don't know how anyone could be upset about being compared to Aerosmith's "I Don't Want to Miss a Thing" from the movie Armageddon, or Bon Jovi considering Nemophila did a cover of "You Give Love a Bad Name". Both groups known for their extremely powerful vocal led rock ballads, this is definitely in the league and spirit of those two legendary bands.
SAKi is already considered among many as guitar royalty, so giving Hazuki the sole lead part on this was a beautiful touch.
Tamu been playing drums for long time. Even though she plays fast most the time Im sure she has played or practiced slower songs.i highly doubt they are bored just being serious for the song. They are very diverse they can play anything. Also this song was written by another popular songwriter for Nemophila to perform and is being used in a new anime movie coming out in japan this year.
Sorry, I. Just starting to listening, but TURN IT Up! Fabulous band, so let’s hear them.
Yep song is low in volume.
Nemophila doesn't really do one genre or direction. We have to expect these diversions and accept them. They always come back to heavy sooner or later, and whatever they do on their little trips across genre boundaries, they always do it well.
I confess to a few moments of mild dismay when this was first released but I've come to love it. It's not all they are. It's all good.
Who cares? React to this song, not whether it fits your mental image of what you think Nemophila is! Geez!
