There was also Twisted Metal Small Brawl for the PS1! They cranked out so many games, and funny enough with Twisted Metal, the jewel case black label version is actually even higher in price then the longbox ($150) most likely because it was already close to selling the amount of units to get Greatest Hits label, so when they started making the jewel case versions, majority of those were Greatest Hits.
There's actually 5 Twisted Metal games on PS1. You are missing Twisted Metal: Small Brawl. But you are right, this series definitely needs to make a comeback.
The Ps1 was the first console I bought with my own money so it holds a special place in my heart. I actually had Tomba and parasite back in the day. I just recently added Klonoa to my collection, and some other heavies I own now are Persona Revelations, Valkyrie Profile and In the Hunt.
The PS1 has become such an expensive system to collect for. So many of the games I held onto just kind of casually became $100+ games. Lunar 2 is probably my most valuable. I’ve got 5 of the games on your list (Parasite Eve, Dino Crisis 2, Twisted Metal, Einhander, and Castlevania SOTN). Great Video!
I think it's around $250 right now. It went down from about a year or two ago, but it's still really valuable. I have a copy myself. My best purchase as far as value increase for PS1 was getting Persona 2 Eternal Punishment totally complete for about $85 in 2017. It's worth between $350 and $400 now, but it's been a little bit since I last checked.
I like how you mentioned that this list is full of light gun games and shooters because that's what you like to play and not just because they're top dollar games.
My brst friend and I preordered Castlevania SOTN and brought our copies home day 1. We played this game until we found everything. He recently passed away and his widow presented me with his copy, the receipt still inside the manual. This is my fave PS1 game, its beautiful. Great list guys...
Castlevania SoTN IS worth $150 - although you don’t have to pay that kind of premium. The quality and replayability of the game is worth the cash and then some!
Resident Evil 2 $52.62, Final Fantasy Chronicles $25 & Metal Gear Solid VR Missions $24.95, as for the cardboard long boxes I have Destruction Derby, NBA In The Zone, NHL Faceoff & NFL Gameday. Great video guys keep up the great work.
Luckily, I have half of these on your list. Missing Lethal Enforcers, NHL Open Ice, Einhander, R Type Delta, and Elemental Gearbolt. (Only ones I would want are Einhander and R Type Delta) But I do have other gems to make up for it, like Strider 2, Megaman Legends 2, Xenogears, Alundra, Arc the Lad Collection, Both Tales of Destiny, Both Lunar's (Complete version) and Valkyrie Profile. Besides tales of Destiny 2, all of these I kept from my childhood and are all CIB.

As far as I'm concerned, my most expensive PS1 game that I have is Lunar 2: Eternal Blue Complete. Now, the way I got it was a miracle. I went to Kay B Toys (they were closing at the time) and found JUST the case and CDs in their bin. I bought it, even though I was a little bit disappointed 'cuz I was looking for the whole collection set. Later that day I went to my cousin's house. And, to my surprise, he had the collector's box, but didn't have the game. I asked him if I could have it and he said, "Sure, take it. Our other cousin took the game and moved away so I don't think I will ever see it again." So, yeah, by a miracle I got to find it all in one day, after many years of searching for it. Oh, and I also have the first Lunar: Silver Star Story Complete and Castlevania Chronicles. I was informed that the latter became a collector's edition.

I've got a large portion of the survival horror type games on ps1. Silent hill 1, dino crisis 1&2, resident evil 1 2 3 and survivor, alien resurrection and trilogy, nightmare creatures 1&2, etc. Ones I dont have yet are the parasite eve games and clocktower

I'm mostly into RPG and got them on ps1 time period. Lunar 1 & 2, Persona 1 & 2, Suikoden 1 & 2, Grandma 1,2, ff 1-6, Brigadine, and etc. Elemental Gearbolt . I do have Silent Hill as well.
Great video. My PS1 collection is probably my most valuable overall. I have a ton of long boxes, some great Japanese shmups, and rare RPGs. Easily one of the best consoles ever.
Shadow Tower is my most expensive ps1 game. I grew up enjoying kings field 1+2 and after getting more into from software stuff later on in life i discovered it. Great game, definitely not for everyone though.
My most expensive ps1 game is castlevania sotn. I usually avoid greatest hits releases as I like a clean uniform look, but I leave an exception once per console if it truly deserves that moniker. Sotn absolutely does and it looks great in green!
i have not played twisted metal and i have not seen the tv series heard samoa joe was in it which is pretty badass since in my opinion he's one of the best wrestlers around today maybe even in the world

When the era of the used games/movies stores began, I regrettably traded in so many good games because my parents were the games for Christmas and Birthdays only types. So in order to play other games I wanted, I traded alof ot CIB games in.....If i could go back I would whoop my own ass. I was a Nintendo kid and didn't get Playstation until PS2. I have started going back and getting into PS1 games and the my most expensive is Castlevania Symphony of the Night. I had to pay alittle more money for the original over the Greatest Hits version, but that is a no brainer. Always go with the original. Great Video as always gentlemen. Cheers

Light gun games are underrated, I need to get into those, just so many things on my want to pick up list! My most expensive game is Misadventures of Tron Bonne, which I bought forever ago. I was lucky to be a Mega Man fanatic and have a good chunk of his games. I've also always been into survival horror, RPGs, and shooters so I got lucky picking up a lot of stuff that would be prohibitively crazy expensive to get now.

Clock Tower II is the most expensive game I have but I have others that are also expensive/rare. I have most of the games on your list and then some. Gameye tracks with price charting but the price really depends on the demand and condition of the item.
I didn't have ps1 but somehow had the dreamcast instead. But never really did ps1 games. Collected like crazy for it cuz at the time it was much cheaper than N64 and dc versions .

Dino Crisis 2 wasn’t on Dreamcast, only the first one was if I’m not mistaken. SOTN is totally worth it! 💯 Einhander is one I don’t have anymore! 😭 That’s such an epic find for $1!!! Silent Hill series is by far my favorite in survival horror games. I used to be more into RE but I’ve shifted gears. I have all the SH games in my collection. whoa what happened to the prices of PE2 and DC2 ? I'm glad I watched this, had no idea they went up so much. Dino Crisis 2 is the best one imo. It has more action, more guns, more fun than the first. It's really a shame DC3 didn't turn out as good but I still like the game "Dinos in Space". So glad I held onto these.

I have a lot of these games in Japanese format. I have Dino 2, SOTN and Silent Hill US. I don't see any point in buying the USA versions if the Japanese version has no Japanese text and is 1/5th of the price. Mind you, I bought everything new when it came out, so I have bragging rights if the price of the game is worth more than it was new (adjusted for inflation)

Clock Tower II is the most expensive game I have but I have others that are also expensive/rare. I have most of the games on your list and then some. Gameye tracks with price charting but the price really depends on the demand and condition of the item.

I didn't have ps1 but somehow had the dreamcast instead. But never really did ps1 games. Collected like crazy for it cuz at the time it was much cheaper than N64 and dc versions .
The PlayStation Girl has been summoned! 😂 Parasite Eve is amazing! A good mixture of survival horror and RPG elements! I have PE2 myself, but I didn’t like that one as much. It’s more of a RE clone. I have Twisted Metal in the jewel case! 🥺 May long box game is lacking. 🤣 I have both Dino Crisis games on PS1! Loved the first one the most! Dino Crisis 2 wasn’t on Dreamcast, only the first one was if I’m not mistaken. SOTN is totally worth it! 💯 Einhander is one I don’t have anymore! 😭 That’s such an epic find for $1!!! Silent Hill series is by far my favorite in survival horror games. I used to be more into RE but I’ve shifted gears. I have all the SH games in my collection. Still need to play Homecoming and Downpour. Anything by Working Designs is always a banger! Great video guys!!!!!!! 🎉

Great top 10. I try to buy AAA games only. If i see a game that im not sure of i wait for a review. I used to get all the gaming mags but they are gone. Its sad really
whoa what happened to the prices of PE2 and DC2 ? I'm glad I watched this, had no idea they went up so much. Dino Crisis 2 is the best one imo. It has more action, more guns, more fun than the first. It's really a shame DC3 didn't turn out as good but I still like the game "Dinos in Space". So glad I held onto these.

I have a lot of these games in Japanese format. I have Dino 2, SOTN and Silent Hill US. I don't see any point in buying the USA versions if the Japanese version has no Japanese text and is 1/5th of the price. Mind you, I bought everything new when it came out, so I have bragging rights if the price of the game is worth more than it was new (adjusted for inflation)
