Some people complaining about gore and physics have no idea what's realistic and what isn't. Getting up and running after getting shot in the leg is waaay more realistic that flailing to death on the ground as if one pistol or rifle round turned your leg to mincemeat.

I had to load the save with arthur before the last train robbery and replay everything just to hopefully keep the guns that time, I got to keep them after replaying the last mission fortunately.
You’re supposed to, but sometimes it’ll glitch and won’t give them to you. I’ve done two playthroughs, first one I lost all my weapons and had to buy them back (and my unique stuff was gone), second I got everything back just before the start of the second epilogue.
