I agree with CP Federik that Modern art makes people talk. The creativity is amazing.

I like that he and his wife decided to commission a number of Danish artists to create the art, that the selection of the art was initially screened by a historic committee and that the crown prince couple had the ability to reject some of the art which they did. Also, appreciate that all of the art is created on large canvas and not on the walls to allow it to be removed easily.

Crown Prince Frederik is far too nice to this reporter that is not entitling him to express fully , what an irritating reporter ...I love what Crown Prince has taken on he's not afraid of change and that is what the world needs ....

The best thing Frederick has done is to marry Mary. The decoration is personal taste the important pat of the renovation is what one does not see the structure consolidation and ecological heat and modern hygiene and electric modernisation. True his brother's English is better. But then he is his mother's son, whereas Frederick is his Father's. With Mary they will be Excellent sovereigns.

Interesting concepts. I just hope that the family rooms are a bit more homey.

Annoying reporter. So overacting. Like he’s trying to outshine the interviewee and tries to inject humor to coverup his ignorance. Made me cringe.

What a bloody rude journalist 🤦‍♂️ I am no Prince, but I don't tolerate people like that...arms flailing about in someone's face and cutting them off, shouting over them. Gosh, this is triggering haha.

This new art in the Royal palace is not a style I like.

Understand that all of the modern art created is actually on canvas and not on the walls and can be removed or changed easily. Tastes change and five years from now it may not be to their liking either.

His English is pretty bad compared to the average Dane and to his own brother who speaks it beautifully. And nope, definitely not a fan of the renovation, I don't mind modern art in a palace, it could have been done very tastefully but this is objectively ugly.

astrofreak12 The Prince prefers to speak Danish than English and I applaud that fact. As far as his and wife's choice of Modern Art it's beautiful , I liked the art that represents the Danes in Afghanistan and Australia.

He is the Crown Prince of Denmark and not of the UK. He is by no means required to speak excellent English by any standard. Amalienborg is not just a palace but a home for him and his family and thus have the right to have their private apartments decorated the way they see fit.
