According to Stefan, they had already recorded most of R.O.Y. when a friend of theirs brought in a Sequential Circuits Prophet-5 and they layered that on almost every song. I think that MwH's signature sounds really owe alot to this; the thin, tinny CS-50 for strings and shit, but the big, bombastic Prophet-5 on bass and leads.
