so right. I have been caring as much as possible for my parents in the last years, and fell out with all my sister's for not doing the same or at least visit sometimes. I wouldn't want to miss a day of beeing with them and listening to all kind of stories. A few months ago my dad passed. I am heartbroken, but he's still with me. I travel to many countries where abandoning the elderly is a No go ...you don't have to live with them but make it your priority to be there for them...
Joselin I'm sorry for your loss, it always hurts more when relationships so deep & equally appreciated from both sides is interrupted by a heart wrenching & excruciating painful let go 😞 may he rest in peace & may you & your mom have the best of years to come 🤲🏻 As for your siblings try to keep the connection with them even though they have essentially left all of the responsibilities & rights of your parents over them on you, especially if you have kids of your own. I've lived all my life disconnected from extended family due to adult matters of such, i didnt have grandparents, aunts uncles cousins growing up while everyone else did. All relations have ups & downs, neg & pos, things always change, people change, nothing stays the same which is necessary for our growth & its a vital part of life, we learn to grow, to experience & know the way of this world so its best to keep a healthy distance while at the same time not abandon anyone cold turkey. Our isolation of our extentions not only prevented us from recognizing them for who they were but essentially put a target on our backs unfortunately. Till this day, I'm unable to recognize character & read peoples true intentions & fall prey to them...thats what a sheltered life does to one, but what matters here is in your case is you are present & you are doing your part & I so pray to The Almighty, He gives you the best of this world & the next alongside your loved ones 🤲🏻😊

Two people bring children into the world & raise them to newly adulthood only to lose them when parenting becomes easiest thus lonely elders living it out till end of time in senior & long term care homes, it's even worse when one of them passes away 💔 The appreciation, gratitude & joy in these parents eyes is 💯 heart-warming & the gesture from their kids is so thoughtful 🩷
@@myjourneytotruth thanks for your nice words. Yes...the pain is immense but he's always there..

In a real family nothing is better than the bonds of love.
Awesome display of family love and unity. A rare thing in our crazy world. God bless this family and all who watch.

I lost my dad when I was 17. I'm 34 now. My 82 year old mom moved in with me this year. They adopted me and gave me the greatest life I could have ever asked for. I honestly wish I could do more.
Miss Mom and Dad so much. Lucky Dad....very lucky family. Loving it
This has just made my day 🌅 he's been a great father to have 3 adult children make a pilgrimage for his birthday💝
I know how they feel. This got me! 😭To have all your babies in the same place at the same time is the most amazing feeling ever!! Then comes the laughing and teasing and picking and mine are so loud. I just stand back in awe of them. Loving every second of crazy.
So beautiful. I'm crying over here, what a sweet thing to do! Both my parents are gone now and it makes my day to see other families do this.
The love, planning and unity that took. It brought tears to my eyes that they did that.
You can tell the son was super excited to see his parents by how quick he was knocking and opened the door lol this is so sweet!
I am more amazed that they had their doors unlocked. What State is this?
He was really happy about the surprise. Super excited actually he was panting. 😂
