This was always one of my favorite Tull albums. At least four truly outstanding cuts, plus the rest is a great listen as well. Right up there with Stand Up, Aqualung and War Child.
I like this album, it was the second Tull album I ever bought after Aqualung. I tend to think of both it and Heavy Horses together, since they were both a bit more ‘British Folk’ albums for Tull and Dave Pegg from Fairport was in the band. Rob of course has all the Steve Wilson Tull sets. I’m glad I at least have 3…the first album, Too Old and Minstrel. Too bad now they are pricey! But they were a really good deal at the time.

This is an album I randomly heard many years ago, and loved.
Saw the Songs From The Woods 1977 tour at Maple Leaf Gardens.
Awesome! They were such a great live band back in the day. Not the same without Martin Barre.

So glad to see someone mention Warchild. My 2nd fave Tull album. But few mention it.
