  • This video was made for a junior electromagnetics course in electrical engineering at Bucknell University, USA. The video is designed to be used as the out-of-the-classroom component and combined with active learning excercises in class. This video covers Coulomb's Law and includes about ten minutes of basic concepts on vectors. If you want to skip the vector stuff, look for the similarly named video with the word "without" in the title.

interesting video, the explanation appears to be more sensible than most of the textbooks, really appreciate the sharing!

The explanation about the area of a sphere was very helpful for an intuitive understanding of the concept. Thanks for sharing these videos.

I could be wrong here but shouldn't the vector -1x + 1y (drawn at 10:43) start at the origin and go up diagonally to the left?

that part of the video is confusing indeed

you are correct, he accidentally went to (-1x + 2y) instead of (-1,1) :)
