Friend of mine and I made a double barrel smoker and used a barrel under it for the fire pit , we used red fire clay on the bottom floor to keep from burning the floor out
very nice job on the D.C. pit. I'm a big fan of theirs and yours too. I love to see how you build stuff. One thing you might want to be careful of though is copyright infringement. I'm no lawyer but they might be able to sue you if you don't have their permission. Great job just be careful.
