      Hey mate. I'm thinking about this bass, I only really play metal and heavy hard rock. You reckon you can get a good metal sounding tone?

    • @alexskibicki2262
      @alexskibicki2262 Před 3 lety

      Yes you can get a killer metal tone from the bb basses. Put on a set a stainless steel strings and you’ll get a killer punchy sound. It also sounds amazing with distortion. The trbx bass is another good bass for metal. I highly recommend them both.

    What do you think of this bass in comparison of fender p bass?? Thank you

    • @IgorOdaryuk
      @IgorOdaryuk  Před 4 lety +2

      Remy Lanca I think there’s no need to compare this two different Basses. Pbass is probably the most iconic bass of all the history. I like Yamaha Basses for low, powerful 5 string, if I need 4 string I prefer JB of Pbass

    • @savanaviolenta
      @savanaviolenta Před 4 lety +4

      But that's his preference, don't judge by other people's opinions. It varies. BBs are iconic basses too in many ways much better than P or J basses.

    • @IgorOdaryuk
      @IgorOdaryuk  Před 2 lety +1

      in my opinion BB have the bolder sound then TRBX, but we all different, so you must choose it by your ear. And you should compare BB735 with TRBX605 more than TRBX505.

    How does the neck feel? I had the 734A, and the fretboard edges were sharp and causes my left hand pain.

    • @IgorOdaryuk
      @IgorOdaryuk  Před rokem

      Sometimes it happens :( but this one was comfortable. Maybe in your place Low level of humidity (lack of moisture), it’s common reason for sharp frets. The best way to fix it - visit bass “doctor” or your local guitar tech in music store

    • @IgorOdaryuk
      @IgorOdaryuk  Před rokem +2

      I like low B on Yamaha basses, most of the time it’s perfect. Not like on fender basses, where you can get 10 basses and only 2-3 would be ok about low B

      I can’t decide for you what to choose, listen as much as you can and then decide what you like more. I like more BB series it’s more classic Yamaha sound, TRBX is more nowadays instrument. Only you can decide what is better. Hope you can find YOUR bass, have fun!

    • @IgorOdaryuk
      @IgorOdaryuk  Před 2 lety +2

      @@peixecobain well, neck construction on bb different, you’re right, than on trbx. But I prefer to choose the bass for sound not of specs, try to listen those models in your local music store. You buy not hardware or neck construction, you buy THE SOUND :) so, listen-choose-buy. I guess that’s the right algorithm, but of course YOUR opinion is the key, don’t listen anyone
