I have had the privilege that after 30 years of being a fan I got to see celine in my hometown in concert in 2017 and being a big birthday I was even more privileged that I was able to attend twice in two weeks but the first one was special to me because she waved over to my direction I would love to think it was for me because all I could do that night was cry as she was singing and couldn’t believe I was finally able to see her. And the thing that made it more special was when she left the stage she literally walked right passed me and to this day I wish I had called her but she was rushing and I didn’t want to slow her down. But at least I got to see her which is what some people have been waiting for so long to get to see celine live. I am not giving up hope that celine you will get back on the stage again the show will go on and you have the courage and determination to make it happen but in your own time we will be here waiting for you and supporting you through whatever you are facing right now 🫶🏻🙏🏼💖

I can't believe Celine is going through this; my heart is breaking for her!!! I will make an argument that Celine has the single most beautiful, iconic and ethereal voice of all time. She sang me through my childhood on the radio and on the CDs my mom got for me, always the one constant in my life, always there for me when life seemed like crap, her voice always brought me back to a place where everything was magical and beautiful. Her songs were a reminder to a little, bullied, lonely girl that everything was going to be ok, no matter what. Neurological disease is so hard. I was diagnosed with MS 10 years ago. My body was betraying me at every turn and it was so confusing. I was only 27 and all I could do was wonder why. I feel her pain so much! She's being so brave telling the world her dx. A thing like this is one of the hardest things to deal with. It's scary and infuriating and terrifying all at the same time. im just asking does the treatment for stiff person syndrome take many years? doesn't it take a year as in more than 10 years before you can recover is that true
@@rowenalawado4967 I honestly don't know much about her diagnosis. Most neurological diseases like this and MS are degenerative. Meaning most likely no cure. She's Celine freakin Dion so if there's a cure of any kind she will get it. With MS there is no cure. Degenerative means your condition and abilities decline consistently and you can't regain what function has been lost from disease bc the cells are either damaged or dead. I sure hope stiff man syndrome is not as damaging as MS. Gives her more time to heal. Medical science today is amazing but still hasn't figured it all out with neurological disease and disorders.

I have had the privilege that after 30 years of being a fan I got to see celine in my hometown in concert in 2017 and being a big birthday I was even more privileged that I was able to attend twice in two weeks but the first one was special to me because she waved over to my direction I would love to think it was for me because all I could do that night was cry as she was singing and couldn’t believe I was finally able to see her. And the thing that made it more special was when she left the stage she literally walked right passed me and to this day I wish I had called her but she was rushing and I didn’t want to slow her down. But at least I got to see her which is what some people have been waiting for so long to get to see celine live. I am not giving up hope that celine you will get back on the stage again the show will go on and you have the courage and determination to make it happen but in your own time we will be here waiting for you and supporting you through whatever you are facing right now 🫶🏻🙏🏼💖

I can't believe Celine is going through this; my heart is breaking for her!!! I will make an argument that Celine has the single most beautiful, iconic and ethereal voice of all time. She sang me through my childhood on the radio and on the CDs my mom got for me, always the one constant in my life, always there for me when life seemed like crap, her voice always brought me back to a place where everything was magical and beautiful. Her songs were a reminder to a little, bullied, lonely girl that everything was going to be ok, no matter what. Neurological disease is so hard. I was diagnosed with MS 10 years ago. My body was betraying me at every turn and it was so confusing. I was only 27 and all I could do was wonder why. I feel her pain so much! She's being so brave telling the world her dx. A thing like this is one of the hardest things to deal with. It's scary and infuriating and terrifying all at the same time. im just asking does the treatment for stiff person syndrome take many years? doesn't it take a year as in more than 10 years before you can recover is that true
@@rowenalawado4967 I honestly don't know much about her diagnosis. Most neurological diseases like this and MS are degenerative. Meaning most likely no cure. She's Celine freakin Dion so if there's a cure of any kind she will get it. With MS there is no cure. Degenerative means your condition and abilities decline consistently and you can't regain what function has been lost from disease bc the cells are either damaged or dead. I sure hope stiff man syndrome is not as damaging as MS. Gives her more time to heal. Medical science today is amazing but still hasn't figured it all out with neurological disease and disorders.
