I'd honestly rather have the Casio Databank DBC-611. Similar price, way more features, and it pulls off the metal calculator look just a bit better. Great video 👍
I totally agree on the steel case part.. Timex are doing it right, check out the T80 36mm steel (although it is identical watch to a Adidas one which apparently Timex produced... It has steel case)

I feel like there is something not quite right about me. When I was young and poor, I did not want to wear a digital Casio watch. I always wore Seiko watches. Now I'm older and can pretty much buy any watch I want, yet I'm smitten by these Casios. Today I own THREE. Both World Timers, one is the Royale black and silver resin, and the other the dressier gold trimmer version. Last but not least is a G Shock bluetooth tough solar. I love them all.
I wonder if SKXMOD will ever do a full-metal case w/ sapphire crystal for this watch? I've got my AE1200 modded with their case/bracelet, and it's a fantastic product.
Love the calculator watch. Have had one since they came out. (And before I was a collector!) They are just plain cool. And usable for ... umm ... calculatin'!

I have the regular version and I certainly prefer it. I would never understand nor buy those chrome plated nasty models. To me it's either full resin or full stainless steel. What I would love to have upgraded on this particular model is for it to thave a backlight.
If only: it had a stainless case, light, wider lugs, and blue text on the face, it would have been a perfect release. The calculator watch is as cool at Marty McFly so I hope it gets released in steel.
I have a CA 56 It's a Dull silver case with a black resin strap. I think its a discontinued model. I do like this new one. Just really wish they'd move to stainless steel. "Get it away!" 🤣🤣

A little off topic here, but i recently bought a used watch that is generally in excellent condition apart from the scratch marks on the ends of the lugs from were the previous owner changed straps. Where would you take the watch to have the scratches removed and the brushed finish restored? Thanks, Al.
Yeah it would’ve been better in stainless with a backlight. I don’t own one but I do have a very old Casio Data Bank DBC-60 but the band has since disintegrated. Thanks for sharing it and have a great day!
I have the black resin CA53 which is cool so I obviously had to have this new CA500. It's definitely overpriced but man, it just looks sooo COOL! My missus said "isn't that just the same as the other one you have?" 😂
Ouch. The wife was harsh on this one. My wife agreed. 😂 Seriously though, a backlight or even lume behind the LCD screen would be perfect. Hit it with some light and you'd have a few hours of use. Great video as always though, no complaints there. 😊
Bah! I wish Casio would re-release some of their better watches, in metal, with a backlight. I grow tired of the cheap plastic re-treads. Please can we have the DW-2000?
The display of the CA500 looks a little brighter and smoother than the CA53. (Congrats they sent you a new one although you smashed the first one. 😁I'd like it anyway. Could you send it to me, please? 🥺

DBC-32-1ADF is my favorite it has auto light, 10 year battery life, and absolutely a calculator it has

Stainless steel case, at least 5 BAR water resistance, LED backlight and we would have another timeless piece from Casio...
