- This video is about how to get rid of pest snails in aquarium by making a DIY snail trap for aquarium. In this DIY aquarium snail trap we can attract snails by using some tasty vegetables as bait. We can put a piece of boiled cucumber, zucchini, carrot, or lettuce in it and leave it in the tank overnight. The next morning, it will be found that the vegetable is covered with snails, which can then be easily removed from the tank. The planted tank shown in the video is infested with mini flat ramshorn snails.

Simple smal and cheap. This is al it needs to be. Going to make one today.
Made a little glass jar version with a screw top, sinks easily. Also, place a piece of string into the screw top so you can lower it down and take it out without the need to stick your hand in the water.

Can this snail grow into bigger size?
They are mini Ramshorn snails and can grow to a maximum size of 5 mm.
@@madebykm ohh that's why I see them growing very slowly in my tank and they're 2 months old now.
