Big Bulletin | HR Ranganath Speaks About The Personality Of CCD Owner VG Siddhartha | July 30, 2019
Cafe Coffee Day founder and owner, VG Siddhartha, who is also the son-in-law of former Karnataka Chief Minister SM Krishna, has gone missing near Mangaluru. Police have launched a massive search operation near the bridge near Mangaluru where Siddhartha was seen last.
Siddhartha went missing on Monday evening while his phone has been switched off ever since.
The cafe chain owner was on his way to Mangaluru in Karnataka on Monday when he asked his driver to stop the car near a bridge on the Netravati River and got off.
Police suspect he might have jumped off the bridge and committed suicide.
He was talking to someone over the phone when he got off the car and went on a walk around 6:30 pm.
VG Siddhartha's car was last seen passing through BC Road toll near Mangaluru.
The Search Operation was called off at 9.30 pm as the water force increased in the Netravati River.
