Delaware River Railroad - Railfan Weekend 2006

On a dramatic foggy day, the Delaware River Railroad, known by railfans as "the Bel-Del" hosted their annual Railfan Weekend. Watch as Chinese 2-8-2 Mikado 142 asserts her way through the mist and fog hauling a photo freight.

I was there for railfan weekend, the conductor gave me a ride in her cab on a warm-up run..beautiful.

I really liked her this way in the all balck paint with no white wall drivers and blacked out running boards. Not that i don't like her current apperance, i just liked the all black look better. Great video!

No, actually it is on the New Jersey side of the Delaware River in Phillipsburg, NJ. It's right across the river from Easton PA.
