The only thing I disagree with is not keeping the people you're making something for in the loop/gauging their need. Generally it is seen as best practice to gauge user requirements from whoever is the client. That way it will look really nice when you create something that people can actually use. Also, it's not always the case that you as a developer have interest/knowledge in/of whatever the application is (my clients are financial experts, and I don't really know their world at all.) In addition, you could probably make some friends who know more about development to give you pointers. Particularly those who actually do something in the field because that gets you some clue as to what technologies are actually relevant right now. You could make apps, and the skills you picked up would not be very relevant to any of the current tech stacks in industry.
The topic you discussed about ideas for coding projects in an environment known as code editors was interesting. I found all the ideas shown to be excellent and each one has its details.✌💖

I just make tools that I need. Then I use my own tools every single day to create a workflow for new projects.
Can you give an example? Also are they available to use for all?
