I kinda like it if its because he acknowledges them and sees them as competitors but I kinda dont like it if its from jealousness of talent or to try to get chat voters to not like them to win the competition
Wobbles said himself that it comes from him having a beatbox background, and that he wants to, in a sense, battle others. But in a fun way of course, only good vibes.
He is a former battle beat boxer (beat box equivalent to a battle rapper), old habits die hard. It is all in good fun of course, obviously Wobbles is the better beat boxer, Wobbles is top 50 in the US, but Ari is a cool DJ and so they have different styles and markets. It has been interesting to see how much better he has gotten, he went full trap beat box, last time I saw him he was still up and coming in the battle scene doing US shows. I'm sure Ari will get better with time as he is the younger artist.
How was ari better though? Wobbles used guitar, keyboard, loop station, that 1st instrument, he beatboxed and he actually sang without auto tune. But also he mixed his song up a lot more and it had more changes and switches completely changing genres half way through the song. Ari basically just played the same beat on loop station and improved with autotune and took some samples but his song didn't have much variation. Both were good, but this was just next level. He was doing at least 6 different skills not even including his actual mixing skills how he can mix them all together
