  • In this video you can see how just using original parts from Lego 21058 set you can have full Great Pyramid of Giza! That is so amazing! Author did amazing job! Good that I didn't bought second set for completing the set :) See it yourselves.

This sold me on the set. Thanks to both you and the designer!

Thank you for this video and sharing the website. Wound up buying this right after watching the video and downloaded the alternate build instructions, which really should have been the original. The alternate build is much more what I had in mind for this kind of set.

You are the best. Most of instructions cost on rebrickable but you made it free. A genious idea. I subbed. You are a legend❤

I guess I'm in the minority that I LIKE that it was only half the pyramid.
    1. It keeps the cost down.
    2. It means that the model is focused on quality rather than quantity.
    3. They did make it so you could make it whole if you so choose by buying a second set (though I WOULD have liked to seen official Lego instructions on how to build with two sets, rather than leaving it to the community).
    4. And this is the MAIN reason I like half of a pyramid... the whole pyramid is big and difficult for some people to display, so HALF a pyramid can be set right against a wall, and you're not missing anything, except the catacombs on the back.

It's a very good idea not to be half of it complete, it seems real art, and the way that constructed

This was great. I had to take the entire set apart to rebuild it, but it was worth it. Thank you!

If you look on the back of the normal build there is two plus holes to connect something idk what it is for but it might be a future 2nd part of the lego set

They just hint that you can buy another set and connect them

Ok but imagine how much more expensive it would be if it was the full pyramid

    • @ArmeBricks

Yes, but it would be cheaper than buying two sets to build one :)

@@ArmeBricks why would you need a full pyramid anyway? Aren’t you gonna display this close to the wall?

I built the first 6 bags of this set before I discovered this alternative build. It was still a no-brainer~! I took the entire thing apart, and rebuilt it. It was one of the most fulfilling builds that I have ever done. It has been said in the comments that this is the way that the kit should have been built by Lego, and I agree entirely. I am so happy with this build! Although, there is one downside that I found. the side of the pyramid that is supposed to be under construction, is not very sturdy. In fact, I built it 4 times, only to experience that it fell apart as I was putting more pieces on it. So... I did something that I don't like to do, but was necessary... I glued the pieces that were attached by only one line of studs. I'm glad that I did. First, because I was able to build it without babying it, and more importantly, since the pyramid can be rotated to display the "finished" side or the "under construction" side, I can now handle the pyramid without worrying about it exploding in my hands. I hope that anyone who reads this will take heed and glue it from the start. It's worth it!

Glad that it helped you to have full pyramid, of course glue and Lego - does not go well together :)

Oh, Man, thx very much! This link to the same instruction i saw on Pikabu site too. So, the result like this looks like better, than the original double set together.
Tell me, plz, is it enouigh to use only the linked instruction to build the full set or i need to use the original instruction too?

    • @ArmeBricks
      @ArmeBricks  Před rokem +1

It is enough to use only instruction from rebrickable;)

How did you do this with the white bricks facing the front? That is different than the moc, I like the look with the limestone bricks facing the front.
