  • Timelapse Hamburg, shipspotting: The container ship COSCO Shipping Star is pulled to the container terminal Tollerort and turned in front of it.
The Tollerort Container Terminal (CTT) is the smallest of the four container terminals in the Port of Hamburg and is located at Tollerort in Hamburg-Steinwerder, east of the confluence of the Köhlbrand and the Norderelbe. The name Tollerort has the meaning of Zollort, derived from Toll or Toller for customs. Until the conclusion of the Gottorp Treaty in 1768, the border between Danish and Hamburg territory was located here. Presumably, there was a customs station here.
