Crawler Gang! Fun Driving Session with the Crew!

- The boys are back in town and we did some crawling at our local spot! Bracket Airfield in Southern California. Brayden, Nema, Connor and my lady all had a ton of fun. Connor was driving a VRD Pro with Rock Pirates Rails. Nema was also driving a Vanquish VRD and Brayden was Driving his super sweet rear steer rock pirates rig. My lady and I are both driving Rock Pirates Element trucks.

If you can find a couple people to do it with its a great time! I would see if there are any group events near you. Those are such a good time. Theres a local group near me that does a meet every month so its become a big thing around here

May is the crawlers and coffee right? I wont make April for the Comp because I'll be at the Drift comp the same day at Super-G but I would really like to make the may event!
Bracket is really cool, they have events here every once in a while but I keep missing them. There are some sick rocks for sure!
@@SeanLewisMedia April is a High desert crawlers event April 5th and 6th. The may event is a crawlers and coffee may 4th and 5th I believe
Hey, Sean what do you think is the best intro to crawling in terms of chassis?
They have a big crawling setup at my local hobby town usa.
I'm into RC Drift mainly and haven't got into any 4WD yet...closest I've got to dirt is when I was like 12.
I saved money and bought a Traxxas Rustler. I guarantee I never used it on dirt as I grew up in downtown Milwaukee.

Hey man! That’s rad they have a crawler setup near you! And it’s awesome that your into drift. From what I’ve seen over the last year Vanquish, Axial and Element are the main trucks you’ll see hitting the hard lines.
There are two main types of rigs, straight axles like the Element Enduro and I think the axial has. Then there are Portal axles that the vanquish run. Vanquish has a few options but I think the rtr that I linked in the description is honestly a great place to start if you want to jump right in and drive. If you want to build a kit I think the vanquish is what I would look at next personally. All my friends have switched over to those except one haha.
Most of the guys start working of those base chassis and then start tweaking and tuning from there. Let me know what your think whether kit or rtr and I’ll do some more research👍🏼
You could even get into the 1/24th to start if you wanted to keep it on a budget lol. I just broke out my girlfriends 1/24th last night to drive around:)
