A short history of UWC

Founded in 1962, the UWC movement has since burgeoned into a network of 18 schools and an extensive alumni network exceeding 60,000 individuals spanning across 150 countries and territories.
As we bid farewell to the celebrations marking UWC's 60th anniversary, we pause to reflect upon our collective history while steadfastly looking towards the future. This milestone reminds us to honour our foundation and imagine a future of even greater impact for the next 60 years.
Here's to commemorating six decades of educating young people for peace and a sustainable future.
