I spent 24 hours in a hotel made entirely of ice!
Snowhotel Kirkenes is a unique hotel located in Northern Norway outside the town of Kirkenes. The hotel is technically more than 250 miles above the arctic circle and is located right at the intersection of the borders of Norway, Finland, and Russia. The main feature of this property is their ice hotel, which easily gets into the below-freezing temperature range at all times.
In addition to an experience in the ice hotel that I'll never forget, I did dog sledding, went on an epic hike in the mountains with snowshoes, and took a snowmobile out on top of a frozen lake!
