    This is such a great video. Your tips about the needle type and not worrying about hitting every hole of the entredeux, and where to look as you sew are Soooo helpful. Thank you so much. 😊

    I’m enjoying your videos so much. I would love to see a video doing the pinstitch and hemstitch techniques on the bernina.

    Great video Kathy, Do you prewash your laces? Looking forward to more of your videos, You are a great teacher,

      No, I do not prewash my laces and in the 30 plus years of doing this I have never had a problem. I think ironing them before using them takes care of most of the possible shrinkage.

    Thank you so much for this video. I want to learn this technique to sew dresses for my antique dolls. I think using the correct throat plate is going to really help. I didn’t realize there were different ones.

    Hi Kathy. Your instructions are wonderful, thank you so much. But I’ve made 2 lac bands using your method and they both wave on the edge. Is it a tension problem? I’m using a Bernina 570. Thanks, Li;da Burton

    I love your videos and you are a very good teacher. Can you tell me what presser foot I would use on my Bernina Record 830 that would be equivalent to the #10? Thank you

    I am considering starting to learn this. Is it only a new modern machine that would have a different sized throat plate. I have two machines but am not very knowledgeable about them. Have basically done small sewing projects intermittently over the years.

    Wow this is so helpful. Your directions are very complete and easy to follow! A question - Do you launder your batiste before attaching the lace? When do you attach the lace band to the skirt? Before sewing up the sides, after sewing up one side, or after sewing up both sides? Thanks and look forward to more heirloom instruction videos!

    Marvelous. I'm so happy to see "heirloom" on the rise. Do you carry the cotton laces?

    • @ginasberninasewingcenter2375
      @ginasberninasewingcenter2375  Před 3 lety

      Thank you for asking. Gina has a wonderful selection of fine French cotton laces along with beautiful Swiss Embroidered Eyelets. We are working very hard to get them all on our website but until then, call the shop at 865-966-5941 and tell us what you are looking for and we will be glad to send you photos to help you make your decisions. Tell them Kathy told you to call and that you are watching us on CZcams.
