I wouldn't say repeaters are the easiest weapons if you play it correctly with right empowered reloads etc. Because you can't dodge you really need to know what you're doing and what the behemoth does next. The strikers are really easy as well as the sword
Marcel Kuhn I find repeaters difficult due to the lack of sprint and mobility, I use them to support a team but I probably wouldn’t solo with them. Sword and strikers are exceedingly easy because they are fast and reliable with proper combos. The chain whips can be pretty easy to if you prefer a quick mobile play style. The hammer, axe, pike, and repeaters are probably the hardest to use effectivley
I started with axe and hammer because they looked cool, looking for proper openings definitely helped me get better at dodging (as long as I didn't get greedy lol)

I like war pike, because for me it’s the simplest weapon. It literally has two easy combos, two ways of interrupting, a simple special. It’s nice
