Idly podi:
Urid dal - 1 cup(any measuring cup)
channa dal - 1/2 cup
Dried red chillies - 15 to 20
Coriander seeds - 1/4 cup
White seasame - 2 spoons
pepper - 1 spoon
cumin seeds - 1 spoon
Asafoetida - 1 piece or powder
Garlic - 15 cloves
Curry leaves - as required
Receipie:
Roast all the ingredients with or without oil
and rest it for cooling down.
and put the mixture in the mixie jar and grind it.
note: Add garlic and salt when the mixture is 3/4th ground.
