  • Restoring this rusted antique axe head took me about two weeks and about 30 hours. Cleaning and repairing and polishing the axe head, carving, shaping and sanding the axe handle. Making an axe sheath from scratch. This is the entire ax restoration process. I made the handle from Morado hardwood. and the I amde the sheath from waxed harness leather.
