- The American Heart Association’s HeartCode BLS uses the latest eSimulation technology to enable students to assess and treat patients in virtual healthcare settings. Utilizing a variety of eLearning assets such as dramatizations, eSimulations, animations, self-directed learning, and interactive activities, this course teaches BLS knowledge and skills. This method of learning provides training consistency, adaptability to different learning styles, and flexibility for the student’s and employer’s time. Students can work at their own pace applying their knowledge to real-time decision making and skills development. After completing the online portion, students attend a hands-on session to test their skills with an AHA Instructor or on a voice-assisted manikin (VAM).

I took the BLS online course and it was great, I totally recommend it!! It has many classes, videos, quizzes, and even e-simulation scenarios very well designed to practice your knowledge, they are like virtual animated games. You can even access the content for 2 years!!
Did you have part online and then an hands on examination in person? I need to register for mine and was wondering how far in advance and how long it takes to do the online course work portion. Thank you!

Today, I participated in BLS course and test arranged by CPSP Pakistan (Peshawar Centre) under the auspices of AHA . It was a good experience and added to my skills . Thank you AHA .

YOU SHOULDNT CHARGE PEOPLE FOR SAVING LIVES
I understand that on the surface, but how will the equipment be obtained. Who pays for that? Should the instructor pay for it? Where do they get the money? What about the person teaching it? Is there time not worth something? You could learn to understand how to do it online; the skills validation - the most critical part of saving someone - the part that really matters, cannot be taught online. It's exhausting to perform CPR by the way, thus the need the change up those performing it during resuscitation. Unless properly trained, many will do it wrong. Too slow, not fast enough. I appreciate your interest though. Some churches and community organizations may still teach it (after COVID-19 has a vaccine maybe?) Not sure.

So expensive! 3700 pesos? Seriously! In Our Lady of Fatima University - Valenzuela campus, all of us got a failed remark on practicals even if we performed it properly. The old doctor there is uncompetitive and biased! She loves to fail students because she we think she’s lazy to teach 👎🏻

There is a lot of high-quality work put into creating this course, you are paying a high price for the great quality of material and interactive learning. It is very worth it.
