Specialized has changed the way you reset the TCU. Turn on the bicycle, then immediately hold the Mode Change button for about 10 to 15 seconds. Thsnks for watching. www.asvlaboratory.com
not bad ass at all. they are different for sure. but in testing they did not perform..in fact they where interfering with riding and rock maneuvers. the wight was also highest and low on the wheel. if you have a carbon bike like me. this fork is nonsense. puts all the lost weight back on. and in the wrong place
Actually, and I just had my 2020 Turbo Levo Comp not starting. A fail due to washing and the TCU (or power plug) I think got some water drops and faulted. So it was dead. This fixed it. The manual states that you first push and hold the upper mode button, then push and release the power button while you continue to hold the mode button down for 10 secs or a bit longer. Took me 2 tries but it reset and off I go. Just a little different than described in this video. The video above method did not reset my bike, but following the instructions in the manual on how to reset did. Great video btw, maybe they changed something a little.
You need to be aware of the open cable routing hole in the top tube, just above the front shock mount (on aluminum frames). It looks like it will allow water into the TCU from inside the tube when giving your bike a wash. 🤓
@@vincef7487 Indeed! Do you know a good solution to this? I’ve seen dirty water (puddles) and clean water (heavy rain) from riding on the TCU (TCU dry and clean at start of ride) on a few occasions. So, in my experience, this is not just about how you wash the bike....
@@Coolcmsc I just cut a piece of sponge to tightly fit the hole and stuck it up in there. Since then I’ve done a few wet, muddy rides and it seems to work like a charm. Good luck‼️
Very helpful.
Many thanks
Mike
How badass are those forks!
