I'm home sick! Mahalo for your videos. Now I can still cruise the streets of Oahu. Brings back sooo much memeories of home. Born and raised in Oahu. Now residing in Texas. Aloha everybody!
World's greatest playground. One thing these videos can't seem to show is how incredibly hot and humid it is there. Even on cloudy days the ocean water is warm and you start turning red with a sunburn if you're on the beaches.
This video is so super cool! Watching this video gives me that same magical feeling I had when I first moved down here to South Florida that has since worn off. I guess I still have a good feeling about living here versus living back in Toledo Ohio where I grew up. But the scenery you have out there in Hawaii is really awesome!! I wish I could win the lottery so that I could come live out there. It does look alot like driving around here in Florida.
This brings back memories,I will always have Hawaii on my mind and Yes I do miss it,especially, when Hawaii was my home in 67 to 70 and my Dad was in the Navy and we lived in Waipahu and then to Ewa Beach.I was the luckier one to go back in 2010 and again 2011 and defently want to come back again.
Man,Do I want to go back,Yes I do,I used to live in Waipahu and to Ewa Beach back in 67 to 70 and this defently brings back memories.Loved the video and Mahalo for showing it.
I am from NY state and I went this past Dec/Jan and I loved it! I stayed in Wki Beach Hostel: $27/night & enjoyed it. I walked down in this area. :) The city bus is a fave as it's $2.50 to see the WHOLE island including N. Shore. Totally awesome!
I came here for something to sooth my headache and I ended up getting a heartache. Good job, me. Good job. *Sigh* I wish I could go back. I'm so homesick on the mainland.
:'( Oh Hawai'i how i miss you. I try and share the aloha you thought me with all who i meet. mahalo nui loa for the video of this place I'm not from but cal my home.
Anyone remember Kau Kau Korner and Me PY Chong? That is going way back when Waikiki had only 4 hotels, Royal Hawaiian, Moana, Surf Rider and Halekulani. Peacocks from the zoo used to roam Kapiolani Park.
would you believe every so often, I do happen to see a vehicle with Hawaiian License plates over here in the U.S, and knowing that the only way to get their vehicles over has to be by ship, have always been curious about how much it normally costs to get a vehicle shipped over here from Hawaii....
I live in Boca Raton and I know what the one guy is saying about the cost of living being high because of all of the landscaping. Our taxes are pretty high here but probably a fraction of what you folks pay in Hawaii!! But I tell ya I wish I was with you driving around there. It is nice!!
Interesting to see the 2 cars run the red light at Olohana Street at 1:25 - fortunately no other vehicles happened to be in the intersection at the time.
ty I want to move there... this was good to experience... can you be there without driving... is there public transport? this girl never learned how to drive.

A simple and comfortable animation.
Just now, it is the feeling which drove Waikiki.
