A small, remote village in the north of Laos, a fishing experience with dinner cooked by the river in Muang Ngoy. This Laos travel vlog is really an interesting experience .
The boat ride from nong khiaw is truly spectacular and then you arrive in this small rural village in northern Laos.
There are more chickens walking the street than tourists and everyone is so friendly.
We walk through the village before chilling with spectacular views and then go to our cabin overlooking the river.
The next day we take a boat to another fishing village before watching the locals fishing for our dinner which is cooked on the banks of the river.

Really glad that you loved Muang NgoI and met our friend who sells fried banana and stuff, we went to her every day for all of our food! 🤣
We actually walked from Nong Khiaw to Muang Ngoi and it takes you through Sop Keng which is even more rural, I think you'd love it!
Still stuck in Laos after 4 months! There is so much to see and do!

@@EscapeToExploreTravel yeah, Laos is incredible for it’s people, food, landscapes… everything! This time we walked it in 1 day but 3 years ago we walked it in 2 days to stay in Sop Keng overnight which was a beautiful experience. We just stayed in a local persons house and played some music for them, the whole village ended up in their house! 😂

@@EscapeToExploreTravel if you check out our channel we have a lot of videos from all over Laos, tourist spots and waaay off the beaten path! 😋 we just extended our visa each month but 2 days ago we had to do a visa run which was a crazy experience! Vlog about that coming soon too! ✨
