Back then they weren't made to be unwinnable. You had a spare coin? Throw it in the machine and maybe you'll walk away with a few more. Nowdays it's not quite like that...

Hey buddy, I just stumbled upon your videos. I have a similar slot machine that was my father's, but he got it during prohibition when it was stashed and hidden in the basement of his parent's hotel. I shipped it to Australia where I live. My unit has a second jackpot that is visible in the front via a plate of glass (used to - my cousin apparently broke it open when he was a kid to steal the dimes). My unit is also not that smooth in action when you pull the lever - takes a little jiggling. Can I ask where you sourced some of your info on the operation of the unit that I saw in another video prior to this video? It may be helpful when I give it a minor overhaul. Thanks.
I would recommend trying to find someone who works with these machines and have them give you the next steps with your machine! Personally I really don’t know that much about these machines, just what i’ve learned through the years playing with them :)
The mechanical nature of slot machines is sadly being lost in real casinos. Everything is digital now... Not even a gambling man I just love the machinery behind slot machines, one day I'd like to own one.
