They have been Home Free since 2000 and members came and went until this was the group that won the 4th season of the Sing Off in December of 2013. This is when they were encouraged to call themselves a country vocal band. Chance joined the group when Chris Rupp left in 2016. There's a video series that Chris did which chronicles the group and it's a great one to see. Don't know if you've seen it already, but End of the Road and Brothers in Arms are a couple faves which have certainly been recommended already, but for something great to see is some of the videos they did during quarantine. Moonshine and Folsom Prison are one of those and it's incredible to me and a fantastic tribute to their production crew which took videos they did individually and put them together...they released about two a month all during quarantine.and all are really really good...

It's amazing the the Doobie Brothers used guitars, drums, keyboards, vocals and other instruments to create this iconic song and 50 yrs later HF made it a classic once again using just Adam and their own vocal talents. That high note in the beginning and the breakdown was Adam not Austin. I love all the new sounds Adam added and am glad the bandanas are back. Adam looked like he was really having fun in this one. They have a brand new one coming out Friday at 1 pm and you need to check out their latest called Brother.

I grew up on classic rock & am a big fan of the Doobie Brothers & had their albums. "Listen To The Music" was a big hit for them back in 1972. Love that Home Free is keeping this great music alive & introducing it to the younger generation. The guys did a really nice job of this song. Austin was great for the lead & loved the background harmonies of Rob, Chance & Tim's bass. Adam killed it on the vocal percussion again. He always comes up with some new & interesting sounds. Adam is doing the high notes as you can see in the slowed down section.

This is simply excellent again!! I have been a fan of the Doobie Brothers for a long time. This song is just timeless. It still swings. With the Home Free twist while still respecting the original, it's really something for Home Free. So great sung, so great harmonies, bone-feeling bass, But for me it's Adam who makes it truly phenomenal. He nailed it. The vocal percussion is just inhumane. So unbelievably good. For me the very best beatboxer/vocal percussionist/mouth artist there is. And I haven't even mentioned his appearance yet. He's so handsome. I do like that he has his hair a bit longer again and then with that bandana on.

The old radio effect is simply an audio filter to remove the highs and lows in the audio spectrum that AM radio couldn't transmit. It's relatively easy with a modern sound board to turn effects on, then off again for a specific singer. It adds an old feel to the music at the beginning, and give the band room to pop the song into the modern era.
In a similar vein, old long distance telephone systems only transmitted from about 300 Hz to 3,000 Hz, the rest was lost.

Amazing reaction my friend Daniel!!....In 2017, the music world was shocked by the bursting onto the scene of a 22-year-old singer named Dimash Kudaibergen, who performed on the famous Chinese competition show for professional singers called “The Singer”... It was just It was necessary for this young man to make his first appearance, making a cover of one of the most difficult songs in the world, a famous French composition called "S.O.S. D'un Terrien En Détresse", to be considered from that moment on as the best singer in the entire planet....No one in the musical field had ever seen a human being, being able to reach vocal ranges above 7 octaves and several semitones, that is, all 88 keys of a digital piano, which reaches a little more than 7 octaves and as if that weren't enough, sing the more than 12 languages...Since then all kinds of experts (Vocal coach, analysts, singing teachers, youtubers, reactors, etc.) have dedicated themselves to reviewing their presentations to try to understand how someone can sing this way...The incredible thing is that that presentation in China was in 2017 and 5 years have passed since then, but what Dimash has done in these 5 years is to further improve his wide vocal range, which is currently practically above of the 8 octaves... The Covid pandemic stopped his concerts worldwide, all with tickets sold in just seconds, via the internet, but at the same time it ended up catapulting him to the top of popularity worldwide...Anyway, since I think you are one of those reactors who have not yet met this impressive singer, here is the link of that presentation in China in 2017, with the song S.O.S. and I would like you to mention my name as the person who recommended him to you...You have to be prepared because you ar going to receive an avalanche of views, comments and new subscribers....I leave you one more recent video than the others, so it does not have the same number of views as the previous ones, which have millions of views, but it is a more complete video, with an intro, subtitles in several languages and with the improved quality of audio and sound....czcams.com/video/bDX3FhmyNac/video.html
