1996 -I was waiting outside a club to see Overkill. Bobby came around the corner out of the alley and asked me if he could bum a cig. At the time, it was the best moment of my life.
I feel like this song has aged so well because the message is timeless and relatable. just about everyone at some point in there lives has felt this way some more often than others
This is the best anger song ever. Really relieves stress listening to this song if you had a rough week at work shit happening etc. And it works after 6 beers being happy as well! :-) Just love it.
I grew up in Illinois... Wound up going to High School in Texas... Is it any wonder I played this song over and over at full blast for hours each day during that part of my life?
I have seen them live 3 times, first one in NY just when Horrorscope came out (1991.) Small clubs, very close to the crowd, we could even climb on stage for a dive!
This is THE tune 2 crank full on when suicidal thoughts loom, because it's not U, man it's THEM, the rest of the world that sucks. & I HATE works 2 focus Ur power 2 destroy but instead U just get a KILLER headache thrashing 2 it (as it should B) ;)
Bobby has to be top 5 unique thrash singers of all time..he makes the songs that creative. vocals all over the place in great way.. loved those days... exoudus, slayer, metallica.. glad I was a teenager when these guys were first starting out..ir
it´s unbelivable..it has been past 20 years and this guys still rule the fucking world...this is a big prove of preserverance, profissionalism and good musicians....this drummer is a hella of a fucking GOD...this album was something that all headbangers never forget it....one of the best thrash metal bands in the WORLD
I once bummed a cigarette off Bobby Blitz in Cincinnati then I bought another pack from the drug store across the street and paid him back. He dropped it on wet concrete (it was raining a little) and still picked it back up and tucked it behind his ear for later! It was so cool to see that my GOD was just as broke as me and really needed that wet cigarette!! It just made him so HUMAN and so much more amazing!!! =)
Yeah, that's just the venue. Every one is a little different. I saw these guys with Nuclear Assault in probably 92 or 93 at this great little club in CT of all places, called Toads Place. You could flop on stage while body surfing if you were not careful, then security would grab you and you had to walk all the way around to the back and fight your way back up front.... ugh good times.
They must rehearse constantly. You asked earlier what year was this: I think this is about 2-3 years old since the line-up is made-up of these guys who were also all-together on the RELIX album. This is most likely from a DVD that was released sometime within 2006-07, after the tour ended and the filming finished, of course. I think the DVD is just called "WRECKING EVERYTHING" Live, just like the CD. The clips here are good, but its worth buying the DVD for the xtra features and all.
the reason because they are so far away from the crowd is because they are filming as you can see if you look closely in the space from the crowd and the stage there is cameras
thats what my dad always said lol. he's seen like every thrash band live and claims that overkill kicks more ass than teh rest put together. I can see why
@fixxxer21738 I think it's from the DVD called Overkill Wrecking Everything, if it's not that then i'm not sure to be honest but that's a good DVD either way if you want to see them live.
I hate people that make ya feel small i hate having my back against the wall i hate bein' talked down to i hate your rules i hate'em all hate bein' marked to take the fall planet's not big enough for me and you yeahhhhh!!!! Overkill rules!!!
I couldn't disagree more.Who cares how old they were,it's their best album, and by the way they weren't that young on Years of Decay. This guy is a great drummer, but you said he gives this song so much more power. That's ridiculous,Sid was powerful.I was listening to these guys before you were born.
Not even close.Sid Falck was the best drummer they had and Bobby Gufstafson was the best guitar player.I saw them live when Sid had a broken ankle,he played the whole show with one foot.I think you need to listen to the cd again.
D1314. Dio or Dickinson r great but I'd put them in a hard rock category before I'd put them in a metal Hard rock- halford, Dickinson, dio Metal - James hetfield Thrash. Ellsworth Rock. Plant, axl rose Manowars lead singer has one of best voices I've heard also very underated in usa
I hate people that make you feel small.
I hate having my back against the wall.
You know, I hate being talked down to.
My favorite Overkill song.
Meiner auch

now, in 2020 it remains one of my favorite song
Wrecking Everything is a legendary performance \,,/ Been blasting it everywhere I go
I have seen them live 3 times, first one in NY just when Horrorscope came out (1991.) Small clubs, very close to the crowd, we could even climb on stage for a dive!
First time I saw them was on the "Taking Over" tour, and they are just as good now as they were back then.
Bobby has some of the best vocals in my opinion
''And I think myself so many times, what the fuck is wrong with me?! 'Cause most of you all, I HATE!!!!''
My song!!!!
I saw them in concert, front row.. was awsome!! He loves to reach out for the audience, so energetic!!
Bobby sounds great live!!!!
They played the song faster on stage than on CD ! This was well done even w/the line-up being different from the YEARS OF DECAY disc.
Next time you have a bad day at work, just prevent yourself from repeating these lyrics to your boss..
Apart from the crappy sound the guitars produce and the awful crowd, that's one hell of a performance! One of the greatest thrash bands ever.
Love love ❤ this tune
Love this!! Overkill fuckin' RULES!
Bobby has to be top 5 unique thrash singers of all time..he makes the songs that creative. vocals all over the place in great way.. loved those days... exoudus, slayer, metallica.. glad I was a teenager when these guys were first starting out..ir

I love the sonf for so long ...
6 people are victims of Bobby Blitz's righteous hatred.
I once bummed a cigarette off Bobby Blitz in Cincinnati then I bought another pack from the drug store across the street and paid him back.
